Chapter 8: So... It's a date?

"Now...first things first. [I got to get this gunk off of me!]" You exclaim as you run to the bathroom to take a much needed bath. You strip down and run the water. When the water was at the right temperature, you get in and let your stiff muscles relax. "Ah." you say as the warm water touches your skin in a relaxing manner. You sit in the bath full of bubbles and start to scrub away the dirt and sweat as the sweet sent of (good smelling scent) washes over you. After you was done with your bubble bath, you let the water fall upon you as you was your hair with vanilla scent shampoo and conditioner. When you was all done you dried your self and hair then rapped your towel around you before heading to your bedroom.

After putting on lotion, you take out all your clothes starting to try them on to see what was best.

'This one? No. Or maybe this one? Too fancy. Too plain. Too casual.'

Sponge bob Narrator: ONE HOUR LATER

With the help of Kushina, you finally found the right outfit. It was a (describe outfit here). You hoped Kakashi would like it.

"Now, sit down. I'm going to do your hair next." Obeying her command, you walk over to your dresser and sat down, letting Kushina work her magic. "There. Oh~"

Her eyes began to become big and full of sparkles. "You are just the cutest little thing ever!" She shrieked as she pulled you into a surprise bear hug. "If I ever have a daughter, I want her to be as cute and kind as you are~"

You blush slightly underneath your mask as you mutter a thank you. She instantly let go once she heard a knock on the window. Looking at each other, you grinned sheepishly as she looked at the window weirdly. Walking up to it, she parted the curtains to reveal masked, male ninja in training.

He casually squats on top of my windowsill and gives us a two finger salute. "Yo. (Y/n), you ready yet?"

Your reply was cut short by a raging Kushina.

"KaaakAAASHIIII..."

'Not this again.' You thought solemnly.

Kakashi looks at the angry Kushina with caution, already aware of what was to come.

"How many times have I told you to use the door!" She booms.

Instinctively, Kakashi jumps back down from the window and you quickly follow him out using the window.

Mini time skip

Deeming the distance you two had put between the angry Kushina and yourself safe you began to try and catch your breath.

Once you were done, you look over at Kakashi to see how he was doing. He was standing up straight looking straight at you. Noticing that he seemed to have zoned out, you walk closer to him.

"Hatake-kun?" You say as you wave your hand over his face. "Earth to Hatake, come in Hatake!" You say as you keep on with the motion. He finally snaps out of it and grabs your hand. "Sorry", he mutters. "Let's go." He says as he begins to walk with the slightest blush on his cheeks.

You've only been walking for about a minute when you decided to try something. Something you've seen in countless romantic anime's. You sped up your pace so your now at Kakashi's side. Slightly brushing your hand against his as you walked, you looked up to see that he hasn't noticed. You decided that you probably shouldn't go any further as you thought out every possible scenario. You pulled your hand back to your side and followed Kakashi silently.

Moments later, you felt something warm and soft wrap around your hand. Looking down you see your hand engulfed by Kakashi's slightly larger ones. A look of shock and happiness was displayed upon your face as you searched his face expression. His head was tilted away from you ever so slightly so all that was visible was a small little blush that peeked out of his mask.
