"Hi, Anna!" I said, not-so- enthusiastically. She sat down on the bench beside me.

"So, what've you been up to since high school?" she asked perkily. I smiled.

"I lived in England for a while," I said vaguely.

"Fun!" she exclaimed. "So I saw Rob. Are you two still dating?"

I laughed.

"Yeah. We are," I said, grinning. "What've you been up to?"

"Well I just got married," Anna said, a smile plastered on her face.

"Congratulations!" I exclaimed. "Who?"

"Wes!" she called. If it was Wes fucking Welker, I was going to cry. Seriously. was. Over came Wes, and I was excited.

"Hey Wes!" I exclaimed, giving the tiny wide-receiver a big hug.

"Hey Alex! What are you doing here?" Wes asked.

"Wait, you know each other?" Anna asked. "Oh wait, Rob."

I nodded.

"You guys catching a flight to Denver?" I guessed. They nodded.

"Flight 8709 to Holmes Chapel, your flight is leaving early," someone over the intercom said.

"Ok, I gotta go, but I'll keep in touch. Bye!" I said, sprinting off to gate 17A. I sat down and they started telling us we could board. I lined up in like A, number 3. It was prime for a last minute ticket. I gave the person my boarding pass, and started down the hallway thing. I got to the plane, and I picked the 'Emergency Exit' seat. It was large and roomy, and no one sat next to me. The flight attendants gave us a safety spiel, and we were cleared for take-off.

The flight was long and horrendous. There were about 10 screaming babies on board, but all screaming at the same time, it sounded like a million. Plus, I had an annoying ass kid behind me, kicking my seat. I also couldn't talk to Rob the whole time. I tried to fall asleep, but I had a headache, so I slept about .478042% of the whole flight. Also, my phone died. And this all happened over thirteen. Fucking. Hours. And it was horrible. By the time I got to Holmes Chapel, I was so sick it wasn't even funny. I picked up my bag and went outside. The air was rainy and drizzly. It was dark, and I saw a tall figure with a mop of curly hair ok his head.

"Henry!" I called. He came trotting over.

"Hi Alex!" he exclaimed. I gave him a hug.

"What time's Katie coming in?" I asked.

"'Bout a half hour. I'll run you home and you can surprise her if you like." I nodded and we went to his car. I accidentally got in the drivers side, and it was all really confusing. We drove to his and Katie's house, and it was gorgeous. He dropped me off, and I went inside. Then he left back for the airport again. I went into the spare room, and saw it all laid out for me.

"Alex!" Mrs. Harrison called. "Are you in the spare?"

It walked Katie's petite, fragile looking mother.

"Hi Momma H.!" I greeted her, setting my stuff on the bed and hugging her.

"Katie should be coming in soon, so you might wanna come on out," Mrs. Harrison told me. I followed her into the living room and sat on the couch. I heard the door open.

"Hi mum," I heard Katie's unmistakeable voice.

I popped up.

"Hi Katie," I said, hopping over the back of the couch. Katie looked at me and grinned, then she doubled over.

"Katie!" All of us exclaimed. Henry picked her up bridal style and brought her into their room. I heard coughing and spluttering.

"Mrs. H, where's Mr. H?" I asked. Her face fell.

"Katie didn't tell you?" she asked. I shook my head. "Mr. H and I got divorced."

I embraced her tightly.

"I'm sorry," I said, my voice faltering a little.

"You guys wanna come on in?" Harry asked, breaking our hug. We went into their bedroom.
