All the hype for season 2 is making me want to write more! With only two weeks before it airs and Ms. Daron even posted the posters for s2! I'm excited!
Here's a story to celebrate! It might be written horribly, 'cause I'm trying not to pass out right now...Marco opened his locker and quickly started organizing the files he had added. He hummed, smiling at his freakishly neat book-filled locker before closing it and adjusting the straps of his bag.
"Hey, Marco!" a familiar voice called out as the sounds of wheels running against the tiled floor reached his ears.
"Oh, hey Jackie! What's up?" he asked casually, his nervousness over the skater girl had long since gone, ever since... well, he couldn't remember, it was a really long time ago.
"Remember that super complicated Math homework Miss Skullnick gave us but didn't actually teach us about it but instead ranted about her love life?" the platinum blonde haired said with a roll of her eyes.
"Yep!" he replied, popping the 'p'. "What about it?"
"Well... I was wondering if I could study with you today, you're smart-ness might rub off on me." she said, through pink-coated cheeks.
"I'd love to Jackie, but I promised Star I'd give her a movie night tonight."
"Oh..." she replied, a little disappointed. "I understand, then can we study together another time?"
He nodded before the two waved goodbye, Jackie skating off to find Blake and Marco standing at the same spot, glancing at his watch.
"Oh my gosh, Marco!"
The brunette playfully rolled his eyes, smiling. Just in time. He thought, looking at the bouncing princess with utter amusement.
"Jackie actually walked (skated?) right up to you! What did you talk about?" she asked, very happy for her bast friend.
"She wanted to do homework with me, but I declined."
"What?!" Star screamed, catching attention to a few passerby's.
Marco shushed her with a finger to her lips. "Not so loud." he whispered.
The girl nodded and Marco brought down his finger.
"Why? Wasn't it your dream to finally get together with Jackie? This might be the only chance you get!"
The boy shrugged, walking pass her as he replied. "I promised you a movie night, remember?"
Star began walking beside him as they continued their conversation. "Yeah, but... we could still watch movies another time Marco! Jackie might get another study partner any second now!"
"Hey." he replied sternly, stopping at his tracks to lock eyes with the girl. "You're my best friend. I love hanging out with you! I'm not just gonna leave you alone for anyone."
"But this is Jackie we're talking about. The girl you've had a crush on for ten years! The girl you've been in love with ever since kindergarten! The girl who-"
"Let me stop you there." Marco retorted as he placed his open palm in front of her. "First off, I didn't have a crush on her for ten years, it was nine and a half." Star rolled her eyes. "And lastly, what makes you think I'm in love with Jackie?" he said it, a little softer this time.
"Well, I thought that-"
"It was just a crush Star." he interrupted, his expression softening in front of her.
Star stayed silent. She really thought Marco was head over heels, in love with the young skater and was somehow, happy hearing he didn't really love the girl.
"Now that I think about it." Marco muttered continuing his walk home, Star following a little behind him.
"If I would be in love with someone, it would be someone who's sweet, funny, gorgeous inside and out, and who's always by my side no matter what..." he paused, turning towards her with an awestruck gaze. "Just like." YOU.
The brunette shook his head, trying to ignore the confused look on Star's face when she saw blood pooling up to his cheeks.
"Just like what?" she asked.
"I'll tell you another time."
Crappy, am I right? Well, I'm going to sleep now. Vote, comment, blah blah blah, 'til next time and all that stuff. Bye.
