We finally were able to make it to the magnolia tree, when I realized that my other self was leaning on it, I got giddy.
"My other self is over there," I said excitedly.
"We see that," my rationality sarcastically said , smiling at me.
I rolled my eyes. "Forgive me for being that much closer to being in my physical self and marrying the man of my dreams."
My memories laughed. "Before you even open that door you have to tell us what you plan on doing."
I sighed. "Trust me. It's a full proof plan."
"I'm sure," she said as we came to a stop in front of my mentality.
"It took y'all a lot longer than I though it would be to find me," she said leaning off the tree.
"We had a breakthrough," my rationality replied simply, shrugging her shoulders.
"Well the door is right over here," my mentality said pointing her thumb over her shoulder, pointing behind her.
"Lead the way," I said, speaking up.
My mentality smiled and turned walking a few feet from the tree to the edge of the field where there was nothing but a bright white wall. Just at the line of the field was a brown door in the wall. It looked like it was sitting up right with no support.
"Before you walk through this door we need to know that you are going to be confident in your relationship," said my mentality. "No more second guessing it, no more second guessing Levi, and no more second guessing yourself."
"I will be and I am. I think the first step to me being more secure in my relationship is being completely honest with Levi about my insecurities."
They all smiled at me. My rationality was the first to speak up. "That's exactly right. Being honest with him can lead to you being honest with yourself. Trust your judgement and your heart and you can't go wrong."
"Good luck,"my memories said smiling, giving me a hug. "I can't wait to store the future memories you will have with him."
My mentality took my hand and opened the door. "I will always be with you. Me, your rationality, your memories, your emotions...we will always be right here. Trust us—trust yourself. Good luck," was the last thing she said before she let go of my hand and I walked into the bright light of that door.
It's been exactly three days since Brielle's been taken off life support and breathing on her own, she still hadn't woken.I'm becoming weary that she will never wake from the coma, regardless of the progress her brain's making. I held onto he hand as I looked at her, then I began to sing our song softly to her.
"It's undeniable, that we should be together, it's unbelievable how I used to that I'd fall never, the basis is need to know, if you don't know just how I feel, The let me show you now that i'm for real, if all things in time, time will reveal, yeah,
One-your like a dream come true, two-just wanna be with you,
Three-girl it's plain to see, that your the only one for me and
Four-repeat steps one through three
Five -make you fall in love with me,
If ever I believe my work is done, then I start back at one," I ended softly. I kissed her forehead and she stirred, and I looked at her hopeful. Her eyes struggled to open but they were opening. A huge smile came over my face.
