Striving Against The Unkind

Those men laughing

Those poor souls striving

Striving to sustain a life

Striving to feed their wives

Wives so delicate

Wives so kind

Kind and fragile

Kind and loving

Loving with heart

Loving yet demanding

Demanding better

Demanding safer

Safer for the children

Safer than now

Now it's misery

Now it's sorrow

Sorrow of starving

Sorrow of not having

Having not happiness

Having not riches

Riches to taste

Riches they waste

Waste cuz they have lot

Waste for vanties

Vanities like makeup

Vanities not essential

Essential is food

Essential is clothes

Clothes they have plenty

Clothes they throw

Throw as it's needless

Throw away in bins

Bins they collect from

Bins they search

Search for food

Search for treasure

Treasure not found

Treasure is contentment

Contentment is all

Contentment never came

Came not to rescue

Came never in aid

Aid their distress

Aid their poverty

Poverty so rude

Poverty so unkind

Unkind and cruel

Unkind yet loyal

Loyal
