I ran into the nearest cubicle and sat down on the toilet lid. I suddenly felt a pain in my lip. And I tasted blood. I had closed my mouth, and when my fangs had grown out they were digging into my lip.
I formed a plan in my head. This could actually work. I heard the ringing over the speaker as I waited for my mum to pick up her phone. When she finally did, I faked a groan.
"Sweetie, are you alright, what happened? Why are you making that sound?" she bombarded me with questions.
"No, I feel really sick, I'm in the nurse's office and I just threw up my breakfast!"
"Oh sweetie! I will get in the car right now to pick you up. Bye bye, see you a in a bit, love you!" She hung up the phone promptly. It only takes her ten to fifteen minutes to get to school, so I decided the most logical place to sit was on the bench wrapped in a blanket. God I was so glad I always brought a blanket with me to school, just in case something happened where I needed a blanket, I don't even know why I did, but I am now glad I did.
The next thing I needed to do was figure out what caused my powers to come alive, was it the experiment we were going to do, or was it just a coincidence? I decide to push that out of my mind for now.
My mum arrived and I got in the car. I was very glad she didn't ask me too many questions, just the usual 'How are you feeling?' and 'Are you okay now?' Kind of thing. When we got home, mum tucked me into bed. "Have a rest now sweetie, get better soon, love you." and she left the room.
Then came the plan. I was sneaking out to find a way to take back my curse.
