~ FOREWORD ~

This is a short text I have originally written in French, a very long time ago. It was back to when I had this crappy blog no one visited. I used to post some of my thoughts and rants there. It was my way to let go of the things that ran through my head and that, anonymously.

I remember writing this after watching the movie We Bought A Zoo. I was inspired by the relationship between the two kids, where the boy was an artist who drew gore, and the girl was the light he needed in his life.

I wasn't that good with words, although this story is probably one of my favourites, of all the ones I have written as a young teenager. The lesson is important, I think. And it's cheesy cute. So I translated it, extended it and improved it for Wattpad. Don't you feel privileged now? Ha. I'm kidding. It's my first attempt at poetry, so it may be crap. Moving on now...

~ INTRODUCTION ~

Loneliness is a gap.
It is a hole that takes place inside our body, and camps there for long. For too long.

It bothers us every day, every night. It makes us feel miserable around people, and it pushes our head to bring undesired thoughts back at night. It eats our energy, as well as our sleep.

Loneliness is an emptiness which side-effects are omnipresent.

Until...
... until another soul notices it.

And fills the gap.
