Phil's POV
After I showed Dan around my ship we kinda just stayed there for about an hour. Then his phone started to ring again. His mum was calling him to go home to have dinner.
Just as we passed a huge sign saying 'Welcome!', Dan stopped and asked me a question.
"Pick either left or right."
"Left...wait why?"
"To see which way we should take to go home. Or my house I mean." I nodded my head in like an 'Ah okay' sort of thing, then we were off.
Walking on the ground here was different. It felt more comfortable. And I guess Dan noticed how I was walking around and whatnot.
"Phil why are you walking like that?" Dan chuckled. "I've never walked on a ground like this. It feels different." Dan just smiled and shook his head.
We passed a lot of old buildings. I've never learned much about human buildings except for some very popular ones.
"So technically, I guess you could say that you're part human. Right?" Dan asked. I had never really thought about it like that. I always kept my mind set that I was and am an alien. Was I a human being in some odd way?
"I never really thought about it...but I mean if Superior was a human and he created us I am part human." I paused for a moment.Dan patted my back. I got a chill all of the sudden. His fingers ran down my arm and the skin contact was something I've never felt before. I know I've never felt human skin but his was just so...so I don't know.
"Awww why're you blushing?" he asked.
"What's blushing?" I said looking down then up at him. "Didn't the teach you human emotions up in space?" They had only taught us words and no emotions because they never really thought we would come to earth.
"Only some." I said and he began to explain.
"Blushing is like when you get embarrassed. You probably don't know what that's either. Embarrassed is when someone or something makes you feel like 'Crap I shouldn't have done that' or 'my gosh why did that person so that it was so cute' it just all depends on the situation really." I still had no real idea what he was talking about.
"I guess I blushed when you touched my arm." I was being honest with him. That's something they always taught us to be. Dan kinda just stared at me then he started to turn red. He looked really cute that like.
We didn't speak for about 10 or 15 minutes. It was really strange. We were about to make a turn into a place with a bunch of houses. This rock that was hiding on the floor made me fall on the ground.
"Ow! The rock tried to kill me! It's trying to attack me,quick Dan get out of here!" Dan just looked down at me and couldn't stop laughing.
"Stop laughing Dan. Run!" he stuck out his arm so I could grab it. "You innocent little twat. It's a bloody little rock. It's not going to attack and kill you. Besides I wouldn't run and leave you. You don't know shit about earth. In fact, I'm offering to be your Earthly guide. So what do you say?"
Without a thought in my head I took his hand and he pulled me up.
"I would love for you to be my human guide around his planet."
Again he pulled that beautiful smile on. He had two little pools on each side of his when he smiled. Out of pure curiosity I poked them both. He continued smiling and shifted his eyes to my fingers. I started to laugh at how his face looked. It was so cute!
I took my fingers off his face. He was still smiling. He turned and began to walk where the curve was. I walked a bit fast and walked along side him. I noticed that we walked at the same pace. Slowly we began to walk faster and faster. Eventually we began to run. I had no idea where we were going. All I knew was that I had to follow him.
Up in space we learned that the earth was alive and revolved around a star called "Sun" which was a little bigger than Quianticonious.
"Moon" was the thing that have them some kind of light at night. Well anyway, the sun was going down to Stalios knows were and the shape of the moon was being to show a bit.
"My house is just up and near the end of the street."
"Okay Dan. Is there anything I need to know about them. I don't want to just read your parents like I did you." I still felt a little bad. I'm used to just doing it to people up in space but I didn't get the same reaction I would up there.
"Just be nice to them. I don't think you should tell them about the whole alien thing though. I don't really know how they will react, but I mean they were fine when they found out about me but that's different. They're nice people. Still I don't think you should tell them yet." I really don't know if I should tell them. I don't think they'll ask me if I'm from another planet or something.
Finally we were at Dan's house. He opened the gate then knocked on the door. No answer. He knocked again and this time a woman answered the door.
"Hi sweetie, oh is this your friend here?" she asked politely.
"Mum,could you please not." Dan's mum walked back inside. I was still standing outside and Dan was barely a foot in.
"Phil aren't you coming in?"
"You have to invite me in. It's against the rules to just go into someone's house without permission of someone who lives in the house." he opened the door wide.
"Do please come inside my humble abode Phil." he giggled as I stepped inside.
The house was quite large. It was almost the same as my room, but the furniture was different and the kitchen is smaller and living room were in different place.
Dan's mum came up to us before we even got to move anywhere else,"Boys dinner is on the table. Dan your father and I already ate but we will be having dessert with you." Dan just gave me a look and I followed him to a table that had two plates of food and some drinks on it.
I had no idea what it was that I was about to eat. I sat down. The drinks were nothing I was used too. We would either have blue,green, or purple milk. This one was clear and had little bubbles in it.
Dan sat down across from me and began to eat. He paused then looked at me,"Why aren't you eating?"
"I don't know what it is or how to eat it..." he got up with his plate and drink and came over to my side.
"Pick up your fork." he instructed me. I picked it up. "Okay now you're going to put it in the spaghetti like this." he put his fork in it then began to twist the fork. I copied his moment. Dan picked up his fork and ate it.
I put it in my mouth and and it tasted pretty good actually.
"What's this called again?" I asked after we finished eating. "It's called spaghetti. Have you had any of the Sprite yet?" I shook my head.
After about five minutes of telling me what it was I finally took a sip of the Sprite. "It taste good actually." Dan laughed then got up and took my plate.
I sat there looking at the pictures on the wall. There was one with Dan alone. Dan with his mum and dad (I think it was his dad). One with an older man and Dan on his lap. That picture was really cute. Dan had a green crown on his head which blended nicely with his dark brown hair.
Dan came back and told me to follow him into the living room with his parents so they could have some dessert.
I just hope it's something as good as the spaghetti was.
