contains very minor alcohol use. be careful, thanks!
When Yoongi's grandmother left him with the house to himself to go visit some church friends, he had not been expecting Hoseok to show up on his doorstep immediately. It was almost as if the kid had a sixth sense that told him when he could hang out with Yoongi.
His original plan had been to spend the night curled up on the couch partnered with one of the weak fruity drinks his grandma kept hidden away in the back of the fridge. Nonetheless, even with Hoseok in tow Yoongi didn't hesitate from throwing open the fridge door and asking what kind of alcoholic drink Hoseok would prefer. When he didn't respond to Yoongi's question, Yoongi grabbed two hard sodas and padded into the living room.
Hoseok was sitting on the wooden floor, his feet stuffed into those soft fluffy socks old people wear. His hair was fluffy, standing up into the air in weird peaks. He was glancing up around the room, taking in the scenery in an almost trance like state. Yoongi flopped onto the couch behind him, placing the cool drink next to his forehead. The cold bottle snapped him out of his trance and he jumped backwards.
"Woah, calm down there sunshine. I just bought you a random drink because you didnt answer my question." Yoongi bit his cheek to stop himself from smiling.
"Oh... Thanks." Hoseok smiled. Taking the beverage and glancing over the label, Hoseok's eyes went wide and he started stuttering. Yoongi chuckled and popped the cap off his drink with the coffee table edge.
"Yoongi... this has alcohol in it?" Yoongi nodded, taking a swig from his drink. Hoseok bit his lip, pondering the drink.
His parents weren't against the use of drugs and alcohol, and they had always told him that if he was going to do something like that he should do it with someone he trusts. It may have only been a few weeks since the birth of their friendship, but Hoseok trusted Yoongi. He was smarter than he gave himself credit for, and Hoseok knew he wouldn't let him do anything harmful.
Deciding 'fuck it', the brunet followed Yoongi's actions and popped the top off of his drink and taking a sip. It was fruity, and tasted almost like apple juice. The slight carbonation of the drink surprised Hoseok. As the musty aftertaste punched him in the tongue, Hoseok cringed a little bit. It was a mixing pot of flavors that he wasn't sure he enjoyed. Yoongi snorted at Hoseok's facial expression and ran his hand through the younger boy's mop of brown locks.
One bottle of drink soon turned to two, which left Hoseok the light weight feeling tipsy and bubbly. Yoongi had made room for him on the couch, the duo sitting knee to knee. They were giggling about a stupid joke that had passed between them, the tv playing in the background softly. Hoseok's nose was nuzzled into Yoongi's collar bone, still shaking with giggles as Yoongi leaned his head on top of the younger boy.
He nestled his nose into his friend's hair, gently kissing the crown of his head. Hoseok froze, his hand lightly grasping the front of Yoongi's loose t-shirt. He moved his head to look into Yoongi's eyes, his brows furrowed as he tried to decipher the act of affection that had just happened. Did it mean something, or was Yoongi just as buzzed as him?
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable it's just you looked so soft and I've wanted to kiss you for a long time..." Yoongi mumbled, his pale face flushed ever so slightly from the alcohol. Without thinking, Hoseok surged forward and collided their lips, messily and rough. The kiss started bad, their teeth clicking uncomfortably and there was way too much tongue for it to be considered sanitary.
The pair soon melted into eachother as the leaned back into the couch cushions, Yoongi on top of Hoseok. Yoongi's hands went from cupping the other boy's jaw to his hips in a matter of minutes, rubbing soothing circles into his clothed skin. Their kissing session lasted for what felt like hours, and Hoseok had practically become putty in Yoongi's hands.
The older boy began to rub his hands up Hoseok's thigh, making him sigh shakily. Hoseok pulled away from Yoongi, looking the other up and down before shaking his head. He looked so good, his pupils dilated and his lips swollen and red. Hoseok pushed him off, sitting up and pulling his knees to his chest.
"Sorry- I just... yeah." Hoseok bit his lip, not really sure what to say. The kissing had been great and he didn't want to stop, but he didn't want to lure Yoongi into something he wasn't ready to deal with.
"Seokseok? Did I do something?" Yoongi frowned, placing a hand on Hoseok's knee.
"I just-" Hoseok took a deep breath, his eyes beginning to sting. "I just don't want to lead you on?"
"What do you mean? Lead me on-"
"Yoongi before we go any further or put a label on... us. I should tell you that I'm not exactly who you think I am? Yeah."
"Hoseok what the fucking fresh hell do you mean?" Yoongi grabbed his hand in his own, lacing their fingers together.
"Shut the hell up and let me explain, jesus." Hoseok rolled his eyes and laughed despite the fact he was shaking and almost in tears. He used his free hand to wipe some tears he thought were threatening to fall.
"The thing is that I haven't always been the person I am today and... I haven't always been Hoseok?"
