another interview, this time with BrittTheBookSlayer! here you go!

________________________________________________

Q: tell us a little about yourself.

A: Well, I'm a magazine editor by day and a teen novelist by night. I've interviewed dozens of A-list celebs over the years but still get nervous talking to them. I wrote my first novel at the age of 15 and I'm getting ready to publish my first book, Life's a Witch, on December 8th on Amazon!

Q: how did you discover wattpad?

A: I was actually approached by someone at Wattpad about possibly covering the site in the magazine I work for. When they found out that I also wrote teen fiction, they encouraged me to upload my own stuff and I've never looked back.

Q: what are some of the books you write?

A: So far, I've only published Life's a Witch and Fate Reloaded here on Wattpad. But I've written five other books: The Guardian, Suddenly Starlet, Painless, Sober in the City and Kiss and Sell. I'm getting ready to work on the sequel to LAW, which will be called, The Witch is Back.

Q: what inspired you to start writing?

A: That's a good question. I'm not sure what really inspired me to start writing, I just know I've always been a huge book lover and for as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to a write. I'm in love with the idea of creating something that makes people see the world differently or gives them another world to escape to.

Q: what are your favourite (top 3) wattpad books?

A: The Descendents, The Survivors and A Proscriptive Relationship

Q: What do you think of the whats hot list?

A: I think it's really fun to see what everyone is reading as well as finding out what's new and popular in the YA world. I get excited every time I see one of my books up there and get even more excited when I see my numbers go up! It's an honor to make it onto the list.

Q: does music help your writing in any way?

A: I don't think music helps or hurts my writing. When I'm at work, I'm always listening to music as I write (I do not write well in complete silence), but when I'm at home writing my books, I usually have the TV on in the background, preferably something I've seen many times before so I'm not compelled to watch it when I'm supposed to be writing!

Q: have you inspired any of your friends to get wattpad?

A: I think I've opened up a lot of people's eyes to the wonder of Wattpad. My mom, for instance, hates to read. In fact, before I started posting on Wattpad, she'd never read one of my books before. For some reason though, reading my stuff on Wattpad is something she looks forward to. And I have a lot of aspiring writer friends who've checked out Wattpad after seeing how well I've done!

Q: do you have anything you want to say to your fans?

A: I have the best fans in the whole freaking world! In fact, if it weren't for you and your support, I probably wouldn't be publishing Life's a Witch. But because of your encouragement I've been convinced that I have something special here that's worth letting loose in the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you all. I can't begin to describe what having you all in my life means to me! I hope you'll all keep coming back every Saturday to read the newest chapter of my latest book and buy Life's a Witch on amazon on December 8th!

thanks!
