"I'm outside, Y/N. Hurry!" My best friend Riley said as she walked out of the door. We were going to Lollapalooza and I was more than excited. I had been looking out for this event the entire year!

I quickly grabbed my little purse with all of my important stuff.

Where the hell are my keys?

I heard the doorbell ring again.

And again.

And again.

"I'm coming! One sec, Riles!" I yelled as I ran through my apartment looking like an idiot for my keys. There they were.

"Uh, it's not Riley, babe." I heard a male voice say. The one voice that made me shiver everytime he called me sweet things.

I widened my eyes and thought about the person I hadn't seen in weeks.

I ran over to the door and saw Sam standing on my porch. I gasped and jumped in his arms. "I thought you weren't coming home in two weeks?" I asked him, smiling like crazy.

"Yeah, but I wanted to see my favorite girl." He said. I bit my lip and leaned in to kiss him, but before our lips could meet I heard a car horn.

I sighed and looked at Sam, making a 'sorry' face. "Y/N!" Riley yelled from the car. "Hurry the fuck up!" She was just as excited about this event as I was.

"Five minutes!" I shouted back, paying my attention back to my baby. "I'm sorry. Riles and I are going to Lollapalooza, like right now." I said with sorrow.

"Please stay. I missed you so much." He said as he wrapped his arms around me and laying his head in the crook of my neck. "You smell nice." I smiled and giggled a little.

"I can't, baby."

"For me?" He pulled back and pouted at me like a child. "C'mon, baby. Please." Sam said with a more serious tone.

"I'd love to, really, but I promised to go to the event with Riley and I really wanted to go myself." I told him, feeling sorry for him.

He nodded and let me go. "I'll see you tonight then?" Sam asked, weakly smiling.

"Definitely. I'll make it up to you." I said quickly kissing his lips.

"Have fun, babe. Be careful." Sammy said while I stepped into the passenger's seat of Riley's car.

I'm sorry but I fell in love tonight.
I didn't mean to fall in love tonight.
you're looking like you fell in love tonight.
could we pretend that we're in love?

I sang along with Halsey's Is There Somewhere.

She was everything.

We were at Lolla for a couple of hours now and how I felt wasn't describeable.

Events like this were the definition of happiness. Everytime I went to something like this, I forgot about every single problem in the world and I just focused on nothing but the good vibes.

Avery and I met up with some friends and we were having the time of our lives. I thought about Sam for a while, feeling guilty for leaving like that.

But it was unexpected, and call me stubborn or selfish, but I was not going to cancel an amazing event where I was waiting ages for...

The thought quickly disappeared as I suddenly felt an hand around my waist. I jumped away and turned around, facing the most beautiful boy I had ever seen. "Hi again." Sam said.

I hugged him and laughed. "Where'd you get your ticket from?" I asked curious.

"Johnson had a spare ticket." He said smiling. Sam pulled me my against him and I threw an arm around him as Halsey continued singing Ghost.

you say that you're no good for me
'cause I'm always tugging at your sleeve
and I swear I hate you when you leave
but I like it anyway.

We all sang along. I looked up at Sam and furrowed my brows. "How do you even-" He never really listened to her while I listened to her music like 24/7.

"You keep singing that!" He said.

I laughed. "You love it!"

"I love you." I bit my lip at his cheesiness.

"I love you too."

Guess this day was going to be even better than I thought.
