Jake has been gone for like 3 hours. I wonder what he's doing. Any how Leah, Sue and I are having fun. Aiden got a little fussy but he's fine now. I must be coming down with something. My body starts to burn. My shoulder starts to burn like fire. "Abby you ok?" Leah asks. "Yeah." I choke out. "Mom take Aiden. Abby let's go outside." Leah hands Aiden to Sue. Leah leads me outside. Oh it hurts. I haven't felt this kind of pain since I had Aiden. "Leah it burns!" I cry out. For some reason Leah lifted up my shirt sleeve. "Oh God. Abby do you know anything about your family tree. Like do you have any Native American in your family?" Leah ask. "Now that you mention it my mother's mom is Quileute. She told me about the shape shifter legends before I moved up here." I say. "Abby I know this is going to sound crazy and I don't know why you haven't done it already.... but your about to phase." Before I can say anything I phase into a wolf. My vision is kinda blurry. I turn around to see Leah is already in her wolf form. 'Abby calm down.' Leah says. 'You can read my mind?' I ask. 'Yeah we can hear each others thoughts.' I walk into the woods. 'Why am I phasing now? Why didn't I do it when I first got here?' I ask freaking out. 'You said your grandfather isn't Quileute. So the phasing gene you have inside you must have been dormant until now.' Leah suggest. That makes sense. 'Let's go for a run.' Leah suggests. We take off running. I've never felt so free. I wish I would have phased when I first go here. I could've done so much. When we get back to Leah's house Jake is sitting on the front porch. I stare at him a while. 'You just imprinted on him.' Leah said. Oh wow. I phase back into my human form. Jake crosses his arms. After I explain everything Jake just stares at me. "What Jake?" I ask. "I'm still me." "I know that babe it's just I never thought you'd phase. I didn't even know you had the gene." "Neither did I. The gene must have been dormant. Like its always been there but it hasn't shown." I say. I decide to call my grandmother. "I knew this day would come." She said through the phone. "What do you mean?" I ask. "There is magic flowing through your vanes. I saw that you had the potential to phase. That's why I suggested your parents send you to Forks." I don't say anything else I just hang up the phone. "I can't believe this." I say. Then I start to think. This is perfect. Now I can actually defend myself against vampires. And even though he hasn't come around in years.... if that blood sucker that threw me off that cliff ever comes back I can kill him myself. I can also defend my son. "Jake can we take a walk through the forest?" I ask. "Sure." We walk out the door. I run and past him and phase. I then run into the woods. Jake soon catches up with me. 'Your fast.' Jake says or thinks rather. We run until we get to a cliff. I let out a loud howl. Oh yeah. Maybe I came into this world a human.... but I was born to be a shifter. I look at Jake. 'I could get used to this.' He nuzzles my neck. 'Did you imprint on me a minute ago?' Jake asked. 'Yep I sure did.' I say as I run back through the woods waiting for Jack to catch up with me. I think I'm gonna like being a shifter.

Sorry I just all of a sudden made Abby a shifter. I just thought it would bring her and Jake closer together. Plus I wanted to make her more dangerous lol.
