Yoongi found himself biking up the same path the next afternoon. This was his last delivery for the day, and he was hoping that he would be able to stay and talk with the new boy for longer. Just being around the soft boy made his heart do jumping jacks in his throat. He wasn't sure how he felt about his feelings yet, but he'd deal with them later.

He came to a stop in the front yard, grabbing the delivery from his bike and walking up the porch steps. Before he could reach his fingers out to knock against the wood, something caught his attention.

The quiet strumming of a ukulele echoed from behind the house. Yoongi's curiosity got the best of him, leading him to the back yard. There was a large oak tree shading the grass, and between the roots sat Hoseok. He looked ethereal, the soft wind blowing his hair as if he was in a L'Oreal commercial. A small wooden ukulele was clutched in his thin hands, his fingers moving as he randomly strummed chords and hummed. Yoongi watched for a good minute, before being scared out of his skin by Hoseok speaking up.

"A picture lasts longer, you know." He giggled, pearly whites shining bright as ever. Yoongi's stomach twisted and his throat went dry.

"I brought bread?" Yoongi said, more of a question than a statement. The brown haired boy grinned and hopped up from his spot, his bare feet padding across the grass. He was dressed in a navy shirt and worn jeans, which were rolled at the ankles.

"Thank you! We were out of sourdough, which is my favorite kind to put avocado on..." Yoongi zoned out, listening to Hoseok talk. His voice was beautiful, the older was certain he could listen to him read off serial codes and still be on cloud nine. Yoongi glanced down, noticing how much the younger wrung his hands as he spoke. Without thinking he reached out and pulled Hoseok's hands apart, settling one within his own and squeezing in a reassuring way.

Hoseok had stopped talking and flamed a shade of red Yoongi was sure wasn't humanly possible. He cleared his throat before licking his lips and speaking.

"Hoseok... Do you have more lemonade? I want to drink it and hear you play your ukulele some more. I have time to stay today. I want to become friends with you..."

Hoseok's smile in that moment had just about blinded the older boy.
