Yoongi hopped off his worn bicycle, walking up the steps into the small grocery store. The building itself was small, fitting perfectly into the town. The owners would often bag orders for him, which he'd bike to the address of the owner's house to deliver. It was a weird system, but it made it easier for the elderly people in the town.

As soon as Yoongi pushed through the door the air conditioning smacked him in the face, making him sigh.

Absolute heaven.

Yoongi smiled to himself, making his way to the back to greet the owners of the store.

"Ah! Mom, Yoongi's here!" The boy, sitting at one of the counters remarked. Yoongi could hear the shuffling of steps from the back of the store as Ms. Park made her way to greet him.

"Yoongi! How are you, babydoll?" The middle aged woman greeted, her graying locks tied up into a tight bun behind her head. She smiled wide, pulling him into a tight hug.

"Good morning Ms. Park, Jimin." Yoongi nodded, offering them a quiet smile before escaping from the woman's grip. "Nice to see the two of you again, I missed you."

Jimin snorted, offering a quiet I didn't before being smacked over the head by his mother. She chastised him before turning back to the gray haired boy.

"Jimin's been too busy fawning over some girl at school to even notice you had left at the end of last summer." She chuckled, leading Yoongi back to the front of the store. A shout of defense from Jimin echoed through the store, to which neither of the pair paid attention to. "I have a delivery for you already! It's just a light one, but the ride is a bit far. You haven't met the family, they just recently moved here."

Yoongi was taken aback by that. Moved? No one ever moved to this town, it was such a dead area of the country. As if she could sense his confusion, Ms. Park nodded along.

"Yes, moved. They wanted a fresh start of some sort... They have a boy around your age. He's... different, though. I wouldn't recommend hanging around with him too much." This statement made Yoongi bite his lip. Ms. Park was never one to talk down on people, so even a comment like that made him worry. He simply nodded along before taking the package from her hands and going outside to strap it to the end of his bike. He looked at the address on a slip of paper Ms. Park had handed him, groaning.

It was up the fucking HILL.

The ride was long, and all the way through Yoongi wished he was dead. As he pulled up into the yard of the house, he was taken aback by how quiet it was, slowly walking up to the door and knocking.

The house itself was worn, painted a faded sunflower yellow. The boards of the porch creaked under his feet, and the air smelled faintly of sea salt. The view was gorgeous, overlooking the ocean from a high hill. Yoongi was sure he could hear the faint jingle of wind chimes.

Yoongi was snapped out of his daze as he heard screaming coming from... above him? He looked up, and noticed something he hadn't seen before. It was a boy and he was standing on the roof. He quickly shimmied down and landed in front of Yoongi, grabbing his hand and shaking it violently.

The first thing Yoongi noticed about the boy was his beautiful tan skin, glowing softly in the sun. His hair was a deep chocolate color, framing his face in the perfect soft waves. His eyes were loud, and conveyed so much emotion it was dizzying. He was breathtaking.

"Hello! I haven't seen you before? It's nice to meet you, I'm Jung Hoseok! My family moved here recently. It's just me right now. I hope you're not here to rob my house, because I already foiled your plan! Although... I suppose you wouldn't knock if you were going to break in. Maybe you're just a polite robber, I won't judge."

Yoongi furrowed his brows, He sure was strange though. He cleared his throat, glancing away in fear his eyes would melt from staring at something so bright.

"Yoongi. Min Yoongi. I work as a delivery boy for Park Market in the summers..." He mumbled, rubbing his neck awkwardly. "Your parents must have ordered something, because I have a package for you guys."

"Oh shoot- My mom left money for me to pay you with, hold on!" The boy trotted inside, leaving the door wide open for Yoongi to peek in. The interior of the house was warm, filled with soft browns and pleasant off-whites. He quickly went to retrieve the groceries from the back of his bike, spinning around to be greeted by Hoseok's bright smile.

"Here's the money- Oh gosh, I brought you lemonade too because it's so hot! You must've biked a really long way. You can stay for a bit if you want?"

Yoongi screamed internally. Hoseok was too cute for his own good.
