The next morning, I got a call from Zoe!
I was just waking up, when I heard my phone buzz.
I yawned, and answered it.
"~Ve? Ciao?" I asked sleepily.
She giggled, "Ciao yourself there, sleepy." She said giggling and my eyes widened.
"Zoe! Buongiorno! How-a are you Bella?" I asked happily.
She giggled once more before answering.
"Oh! I'm doing just fine! Me and Vladimir are planning on going to the scariest place in Italy!" She said chuckling.
I raise and eyebrow and thought for a moment, "Huh....good luck finding that! My country's always so happy!" I said chuckling.
"Oh I know, but it doesn't hurt to try to find a scary place!" She said happily.
We talked for a few moments more, and she said she had to get going because Romania was becoming thirsty!
I gulped, I really hope Zoe knows what's she's doing!
I hung up and headed to Germany's room, and knocked on the door.
I waited patiently, and heard no answer.
I opened the door quietly, and found him sleeping on his bed.
I giggled and shut the door quietly, and skipped to the closet for my white flag.
I headed outside and decided to take a walk!
~
I happily slung my flag over my shoulder and walked down the streets of Germany.
I waved to a few Germans, who merely nodded and went back to either their beer or gardens.
I giggled to myself and admired the mountains.
I felt a little homesick though, and I missed the busy streets of Italy.
I sighed and continued my walk, and picked some dandelions and lavender flowers on the way back.
I unlocked the door and stepped inside, and headed to the kitchen to grab a vase.
I happily cut the flowers and put them in, and I heard a slight chuckle behind me.
I spun around and grinned, "~Ve! Germany! Buongiorno!" I said clapping my hands.
He grimaced, "Ja, Guten Morgen. Danke for zhe flowers." He muttered.
I smiled happily and headed to the sink to put water inside in the vase for the flowers.
He headed past me and sat in one of the table chairs, and I happily set the flowers inside, and put it on the table.
I handed him the newspaper and went to the living room for my book.
I looked back and saw him looking at me oddly for a second, before turning back to his paper.
I shrugged and opened my book to my page, and began to read.
I giggled at the funny parts, and looked up to see Germany watching me.
I rose an eyebrow and waved happily.
He became bewildered and looked back down.
"Verdammt." I heard him say under his breath and I watched him confused for a few moments, but I shrugged it off as nothing.
I giggled as I read the funniest part on my book, and put in the bookmark, to look up at Germany.
"Doitsu! We should-a go out to the park!" I said jumping up and down in my seat.
He chucked once, "Maybe later Italia, I am busy." He murmured.
I became confused, "But all you-a have been doing was staring at me and reading your newspaper!" I said and he blushed!
He sighed and shook his head, "I vasn't staring at you. Und you know zhat, you are just imagining zhings." He muttered and stood up.
I giggled as I watched him go with a red face.
All he did was shake his head and I heard a door close.
I switched on the T.V and continued to watch the news as I went to cook lunch.
But, of course, Germany's face wasn't the only one who was red.
When I looked in my reflection on a spoon, my face was-a red as a tomato!
I laughed to myself and finished our lunch hurriedly, and I was amazed to see him coming out of his study all on his own again!
We talked for a few moments, we discussed problems with out countries and problems of our own, as we always did.
Afterwards, he went back to his study to work on some battle plans, and I just stayed in the living room and smiled to myself.
I'm glad I'm making progress with him!
