I woke up and started to mess around with my new Christmas presents from Santa.
I put on my new phone case.
This is my collection:
this is the one I put on now:
Iwalked out of my room.
Today I was going to the hospital to see if I still need treatment. I decided to not change my clothes and stay in my PJs
This is my outfit:
I head downstairs and pour myself some cereal in my favorite bowl.
Daddy came downstairs and said "is that what you are wearing to the hospital?"
I nodded because I had fruity pebbles in my mouth.
"Alright" he said.
He was still in his underwear and sweatpants.
No shirt. Typical. I admired his flat chest. I loved his tattoos. There's just something about them that makes me feel happy.
I finished my breakfast and went to do my first class for school. It was Spelling.
I put in my headphone and heard the word pig.
I spelled out pig on my paper.
P. I. G.
I kept spelling.
I changed my clothes.
I was wearing a red shirt with white pants. I had on red shoes. It was 11:30. Jaylie's appointment is at 12.
Jaylie put on her black converse.
Jaylie had her backpack.
In it she put her laptop, phone, a pink pencil, some paper, Tay, and a little blue and yellow blanket. She also had the matching shoe and sock in case she got her boot off.
We left the house and got in
On our way, we jammed out to Purpose.
We arrived at the hospital.
Dr. Jones was expecting us. We got into a reserved room for us.
We walked in and Jaylie sat on the bed.
Dr. Jones checked out Jaylie's vital signs.
They took a blood test that made her cry a little. I promised her ice cream when we're done here. Then they did a throat culture. I hated those. They stick a cotton swab down your throat until you gag. It's really gross.
We waited until someone who introduced herself as Dr. Eartwolk. He took us do another room to get X-rays of Jaylie's foot to find out if she can get her boot off.
She could!!! The only bad part is that she had to wear a big brace instead. It wasn't like Forrest Gump type of thing. It was just black and boring.
The doctor had Jaylie try that out.
It was alright.
We had to wait a little longer but Jaylie had school to do and I had my phone so it wasn't to bad of a wait.
We were called back into the room and we saw a huge congratulations banner hanging up on the wall with tons of stuffed animals on the bed. Everyone was here.
All the doctors and nurses. Other cancer survivors, even Taylor. It was awesome.
"What happened?" Jaylie said, surprised as she walked into the door.
"Congratulations Jaylie.the doctors and nurses have all worked together very, very hard to make this day happen. They have removed all of your brain tumor and your hair will grow back and you can live a normal life."
Said a familiar voice.
The strange familiar voice came out behind me and showed himself.
It was Wayne Gretzky.
I was surprised, Jaylie was even more surprised.
There were presents and Jaylie opened them all.
There was one last on and it was a hockey stick. It has JAYLIE ingraved on it. In the other box, there was brand new, never been touched ice skates.
I got a present too. For being a brave, supporting father. I got a skateboard signed by Wayne. It was cool.
There was another little girl who was around Jaylie's age who cut off all of her own hair and made it into a wig. It was brown and beautiful. Jaylie got a purple sparkly hairbrush to brush it with. That girl must have had a lot of hair, because it went all the way to Jaylie's butt.
I was so excited.
After the hospital. We went out for ice cream with taylor like I promised Jaylie. Then we went to the ice skating rink to ice skate a little now that Jaylie's all better.
She picked it up really quickly. She didn't fall at all.
By the end, Jaylie was skating backwards and forwards doing little jumps and turns. The manager was watching her and said, "is she interested in doing hockey? Cause I think we can put her on the list."
"Yeah she is."
Then I told him about Jaylie and I filled out some paperwork while watching Jaylie at the same time.
I even rented my own skates and went out there and skated with her.
Today was a really good day!!!
Yay Jaylie doesn't have cancer anymore. She's trying out for hockey, ice skating.
Her dyslexia is getting better too.
This was a pretty long chapter.
What do you want to see happen in the next chapter?
How many chapters should I make?
Should I make a sequel?
