12th December 2015Her phone buzzed, twice. Kylie woke up, feeling light-headed and took the phone from the bedside table. She swiped the screen to unlock it and checked her messages. There was a message from two unknown numbers. She opened the first one.
First Message
She stared at the screen blankly and hesitated for awhile. She typed a message and sent to the unknown person before checking the second message. It was also from an unknown number.
Second Message
Huh? Kylie thought. Two messages from two unknown numbers. So there's actually more than one thief? And why are the thieves apologizing? Kylie typed the same message she sent before to the first unknown user to the second one which was:
She waited for the reply for a few minutes, almost falling asleep until her phone buzzed, twice, again. She stared at her screen, feeling disoriented. Both of the unknown numbers had typed the same message and sent it to her at the same yet precise moment.
