Imogen King moves to the small town of Forks to spend the final months of her life. The notorious doctor, Carlisle Cullen, was the reason for the move. Her parents had hoped that he could maybe do something - anything - to improve her condition and give her a chance at having a longer life expectancy.
So, when hearing about the infamous small town Doctor, Evelyn King transferred to Forks High School, where she could continue her job and have her daughter treated at the same time. Imogen's parents would do anything for their miracle child, including picking their whole life up and moving it to a small town.
When there, Imogen found something much more than something that could improve her condition: she found a chance at having a fresh start, having a new life. She discovered that she was not Skin Deep.
