Chapter 16: Shopping, Shopping and...Shopping

Ahhhhh 50K! Someone pinch me because I think I'm dreaming!

That was it, Isabella was ready to strangle Jessica who was rejecting every single dress, she can't seem to set her mind on one thing, she was dragging Isabella and Ellie to every shop in the mall. They all were her to buy Jessica a perfect wedding dress along with bridesmaid dress for Isabella and Megan and also a dress for Ellie to wear to the wedding. You heard right, Jessica's and Kevin's wedding was in two weeks which was not far away and they had whole lot shopping and preparations to do. Megan strictly refused to tag along with them to shopping because she knew how Jessica tends to get whenever she goes to mall.

"Jess, just decide one already. I'm hungry" Isabella whined

"Bella, I can't choose. None of them are good enough" Jessica said

"Are you kidding me? This shop is full of wedding dresses and all the dresses are beautiful, just hurry up and set your mind on one dress please" Isabella said as she was clearly irritated

"Okay fine, we'll come back tomorrow let's go now" Jessica said but Isabella quickly stopped her

"I'm not gonna come with you tomorrow" Isabella said in a dead serious tone

"So let me buy now" Jessica said grinning as she went towards the dresses and Isabella and Ellie sat down

"What's up, Ellie?" Isabella asked

"Nothing" Ellie said

"No, tell me"

"It's just that I haven't even seen Carson after that k-kiss, does he think I was not good enough?" Ellie said looking down

"Shut up, silly. The boy clearly likes you and I'm sure he's busy with his work that's why he's not paying a visit" Isabella said

"You think he likes me?" Ellie asked as her eyes glistened

"Yep" Isabella said

"Thanks, Bella. You're the best" Ellie hugged Isabella and they waited for Jessica to be done with the dress shopping as she was trying every single dress and it was surely going to take a long time.

While Jessica was busy trying dresses, Isabella managed to buy herself and Megan a dress too. Her dress' front was made up of lace, stones and beads which reached till the upper waist and was separated from the lower flowy white cloth by a thick gold belt. The sleeves reached till the shoulder and the dress was white colored. Megan's dress was baby pink colored and it was also a long dress while Ellie's dress was sky blue colored.

"Bella, I think this is the one" Jessica said as she walked out of the try room

"Whatever we're not gonna stay here one more minute" Ellie said as she was slumped down on her chair and her eyes closed. Isabella eyed Jessica's dress and it was really breathtaking

"It looks beautiful, Jess" Isabella said "You should buy it" she continued as Jessica walked back into the try room to change. She paid for the dress and they got out of the shop.

"Fin-fucking-ally" Ellie said once they walked out of the store

They all decided to have lunch at the restaurant which was near the mall. After they had their lunch they walked again into the mall to find Jessica some 'perfect' shoes as she quoted it.

Shopping was something Isabella didn't like too much but it was something that she didn't dislike too much too. She couldn't even think how the heck was shopping supposed to ease and comfort someone's mind because she found that comfort and pleasure in reading because it helped her to escape out the worries of the real world and to make her drown in the pleasurable experience of finding out new things.
