Chapter 1: Rebellion

"DOWN WITH NOHR!"

You almost had to cover your ears as Zach yelled next to you, readying his blade, his Pisces blade to be exact since he was a child of the stars.

You readied your blade and held it high in the air. "It's time to show Nohr that they can't push us around anymore!"

Your comment was followed by a bunch of hoots and hollers.

Zach leaned over to you, "Nice job going right for the capital."

"Thanks," you said back. You swung your sword to your side, "Now let's bring them down!"

Soon, after multiple buildings were set on fire,  the Nohrian army was prompted to step in and create a mass battle with the rebellion that you were chosen to lead.

So far, you and your company were fated to win. You climbed atop a small hill of debris from a building and saw that you were now wrong.

You saw that your numbers were depleting quickly, and you tried to figure out why. No special reinforcements had been added to the field.

Your eyes locked onto one particular troop from the Nohrian army. He was the cause of the defeat of so many of your soldiers.

He was surrounded by your soldiers a minute ago, and now, they were all on the floor, dying. He had single handedly defeated them all, leaving him in an open spot.

Anger overtook your thinking and you ran straight for him. Whoever he was, you were going to defeat him.

Jumping onto another pile of debris near him, you jumped in the air while his back was turned, your blade above your head. All of that was a bad idea.

He had moved a couple of inches to the left, causing you to land hard on the floor, and he noticed.

You groaned as you gripped your sword tightly in your hand, getting onto your knees.

"I would stay down if you know what's good for you."

You looked up at him as he stared down at you atop his horse. "I know that fighting is better for me than standing down." You stood up and readied your blade.

"You don't seem to be too smart. As expected from a rebellion leader."

You narrowed your eyes at him. "But I can fight." Swinging your blade with all your might you struck the horse hoping for it to fall so you could get to the man easier. It didn't.

The man opened his spell book, ready to attack.

"(Y/N)!"

You eyes widened in horror as you saw one of your men jump in front, taking the hit for you. You screamed. "Zach!"

You resisted the urge to drop to your knees, and instead swing your sword many times, hitting the horse and eventually the horse went down and the man who once sat upon it, was now standing on his feet. His spell book was up and he had unsheathed his sword.

"I can tell your not very good with a blade. Your stance is a bit off." You said to him.

You took the first swing. He blocked it but swung back, and you also blocked it.

You looked around to see that your troops and Nohrs troops had surrounded you, creating a circle. The fighting had mostly died down, except between you and whoever you were fighting.

You thought to yourself, 'How important is this guy?'

You being distracted gave him the perfect time to strike you, causing you to stumble. You striked back with full force, causing him to fall down.

Your breathing was now heavy. "You done yet?"

He stood back up, and sheathed his blade. "Men! Fall back!"

You were shocked at his command, but you did the same. "Everyone! Back down!"

You said nothing else as your troops followed you back to camp.
