They call me beautiful
They call my cute
They say I'm tall and pretty
They say I'm attractive
But if all of that is true why do I feel like I'm not
Maybe I'm not ugly
But I don't want
Rather I don't deserve your attention
If you think I'm beautiful then you need to see me when I'm crying
If you think I'm cute then you need to see me threatened
If you think I'm tall you need to see me on the inside
Curled into a ball often wanting death
And if you think I'm pretty you should see the scars I've hidden
Tell me I'm me
That's all I know to be true
So stop with the lies
I'm nothing you think I am on the outside
Know me on the inside before you tell me what I am
