Josh's POV

It's been three days. Three days since Leo had jumped into the circle to save Haley. Three days since the Balance had broken. Three days that I've been broken without Leo. During those three days, I'd done nothing but stay by Leo's side in the pack's hospital wing. Leo was put into a room and he has been here, not moving. It kills me a little more each day that he doesn't open his eyes. On the second day, we still had gotten no response from him, my father had to get men to escort me from the room because I went on a rampage.

Also, during these days, my father has been telling me about the Council and the Order. The Council is the head of the supernatural world. The Council consist of a vampire, a wolf, a banshee, a warlock, and a fairy. These supernatural beings are voted onto the Council usually based on the amount of trust they had earned and their ability to be great leaders. My father says the Council is still trying to figure out what happened that made Leo break the Order. They want to charge him, but my uncle being the werewolf on the Council is attempting to sway their decision. He also told me that with the Order being broken the balance of the supernatural world may start to break apart. No one knows when, or how it will affect us because no one who was around the last time the Order broke is alive today, to our knowledge anyway, if the order had ever been broken before.

My head was pounding after my father had made me leave and get food. Every time I left Leo, I was afraid he would wake up and I wouldn't be there, but everyone kept reminding me that I had to take care of myself or Leo would never forgive me. After I was finished with my food I headed back towards Leo's room. As I reached the door, I heard a voice from the inside and I recognized it instantly.

It was Haley.

She still hadn't forgiven herself for what happened to Leo. Even though everyone has told her time and time again that they don't blame her, she still believes that it was her fault. I heard her talking and crying to Leo, knowing that Leo was okay with Haley, I went for a run.

Haley's POV

My head hurt as I made my way to Leo's room. The memory of him jumping into the circle to save me kept flashing in my head. The memory wouldn't go away, I couldn't forget what I made Leo do. I blame myself for what happened to him. Everyone has told me it wasn't my fault, but it was. I cried every night, even with Matthew there to comfort me, I couldn't help but cry. I reached Leo's door and I held my breath as I pushed it open. I was praying that Leo would be awake, but he was still sleeping in his comatose state.

I felt hot tears begin to burn at the edges of my eyes as I made my way to the bed. I gently laid myself down beside Leo and took his hand.

"Leo, please wake up," I said as I fought back the tears.

"We all miss you, we need you," I said again as silence filled the room.

A burning started in my stomach and I felt like I was going to get sick, but the moment passed. I could still feel the warmth from Leo's hand, but that wasn't enough, we needed him awake.

I don't remember how long I stayed in that room with Leo, but the room had gotten dark. I got up and turned on the bed side lamp when I heard someone come in through the door. I didn't have to look up to know it was Josh.

"Haley," he said.

"Yeah," I replied.

"My father wanted me to tell you some news," he said and I felt excitement swell in me.

"Is it about Leo?" I asked quickly as I turned around,

"Ummm, no, it's about the Order," he answered as he sat on the bed beside Leo and took his hand.

"What about it?" I asked,

"They know the Balance is starting to break, supernatural beings are starting to lose control and the Council is having trouble keeping control of the situation," he said as worry filled his eyes.

"So what are saying?" I asked him,

"Let's just say chaos is bad for humans, but can you imagine what chaos looks like in a supernatural world?" he asked as he looked down at Leo.

The only thought that went through my mind was, 'Shit, hell is about to break loose.'
