Chapter Fifteen

Hazel's P.O.V.

I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was that I was in an unfamiliar room. Then I felt pressure on my hand. I look at my hand and saw Cameron holding it. He was sitting on a chair and his face was on the mattress. He seems to be sleeping.

Why am I with him? My heart clenched.

He stirred and lifted his head up. I closed my eyes and pretended that I was still asleep. I heard him yawn and stand up. He went inside the bathroom and then I heard the shower running. I sat up and let my eyes wander around the room. I was too focused on the hole next to the door in the room that I didn't notice that the shower stopped running.

"Hey, you're awake," Cameron said, looking at me only in his towel.

I turned my head and looked at him.

Wow, those water droplets on his body makes him shine like Edward in Twilight but instead, he is much more good looking than Edward.

My eyes trailed down his body. Damn, those abs.

"Are you done checking me out?" he smirked.

"Who said I was checking you out?" I said, turning away blushing.

"I did cause you were eye raping me," he said jokingly, adding in creeped out effect.

I rolled my eyes and covered my head with the blanket.

"Hurry up and get dressed," I said from under the blanket.

"Yes, boss," he replied.

A couple of minutes later, we were in the kitchen. Cameron decided to cook us some dinner.

"So, how did I get here?" I ask him.

"You don't remember?" he ask me.

"No?" I said but it ended up coming out as a question.

"What's the last thing you remember?" he ask me.

"I remember the encounter in the hallway with Bren. Then seeing Janice," I replied unsure.

I winced when I said Janice.

Cameron sighed and came closer to me.

"Hazel?"

"Yeah?" I said quietly.

"I'm sorry," he said sincerely.

"For what?"

"You know what," he replied.

I shook my head and took a step back.

"Maybe I should go home," I said.

But when I turned around, two strong arms were wrapped around me. I held in a breath and tried to keep my tears from falling.

"I'm not letting you walk away again," he said.

"Why? I'm pathetic," I said as I tried to pull away from his grip.

"You are not pathetic. Don't listen to anyone who says that to you," he said and held onto me tighter.

I shook my head.

"Please, let me go," I said quietly.

"No," he said.

"Why?"

"Because I know that if I do, I'll regret it. I missed you, Haze," he said.

I couldn't hood the tears in anymore. It slipped down my cheeks and I stood there, not moving.
