Chapter Three (Part Two)
"Have you bought the things you'll need already? The food, are they prepared? Gosh. I haven't cleaned the living room and the kitchen yet."
Ellie just laughed at my nervousness. "Relax. Everything's settled. You don't have to worry about the house, I already cleaned it while you were here hiding in your cave."
I sighed in relief. I wasn't worried about the party, rather, I was worried about our house. After all this, my problem would be cleaning up. All thanks to Ellie.
"What time is it?"
"6:38. We have less than two hours to wait. Ah, are you excited?"
I gave her a dissatisfied look. "Excited? Why would I be?"
"Duh, Ten Chittaphon will be here. Your 'male version'. This will be fun!"
I scoffed. "Oh, but then I'll be staying in my room all night so there will be no 'fun' happening between the two of us. It's their party, not mine."
"Uh uh. But you're invited, so it means you have to stay."
I slumped my shoulders and rolled my eyes. "You know how much I hate parties."
"Yeah, but Winter," she put her hand on my left shoulder and heaved a sigh, "this is not like the parties that you read in books. Trust me, everything will be okay."
Honestly, I have a bit of a phobia about parties because just like what Elle said, most of the times, I encounter scenes in books where the female lead gets drunk at night then the following day, she'd be waking up with a random naked man beside her.
And basically, I AM THE LEAD OF MY OWN LIFE. So that could pretty much happen to me, alright?
Am I the only one who thinks like that?
"I saw the drinks you bought. They're alcohol, Elle. Trust me too, everyone in the party would likely be drunk."
"Whatever, Winter. You are no fun."

It's eight pm and I'm here, locked up in my room. I could hear the voices of the incoming visitors while they enter the house.
But the thing is, why do I suddenly felt nervous?
Nah, Win. It's nothing. I shrugged my thoughts away as I search through new songs that I could download. Aside from reading, I have this addiction to music. I dunno, my day just doesn't feel complete without me hearing any music.
Oh, there's SNSD's Tiffany's song. "I Just Wanna Dance" and... oh my gosh, Jessica Jung's "Fly"! Why haven't I heard any of these songs?!
"Winter. Everyone's here. Come and meet them." Ellie said through the door as she knocked.
I groaned. I've known them already. Hello, I'm one of the university's cheerleader. (Or at least was.)
"Yeah, yeah. Just give me one sec."
I just can't let any second go to waste. Jeez, I'm too excited to hear the songs.
As I was about to click the newly downloaded songs, my door just sprung open and Ellie came barging in. She grabbed me by my arm and pulled me outside.
"Don't be rude to our visitors. They wanted to meet you."
"I told you to give me a second." I said as she dragged me towards the living room.
