6. Birthday

ZIva's POV  *six months after ziva's return*

I woke up wrapped in Tony's arms. My head rested on his chest as his arms were wrapped around my waist. I laid there for a while listening to the sound of his heartbeat thinking of how lucky I am to have someone like him to wake up next to each day. Someone who loves me despite all of my flaws, despite all of the heartache I've caused him. Someone who just wants to be there for me through good times and bad. After laying in silence for a while I looked to see a pair of beautiful blue eyes staring back at me, he leaned in bringing his face closer to mine capturing my lips with his as I smiled into the kiss 

Tony: Happy Birthday sweet cheeks

He told me as he continued kissing my lips trailing kissed down my neck making me giggle. It was a sweet start to my day "Thank you Mon peti " I was about to get up out of bed to fix breakfast when he pulled me back onto his chest

Tony: your going to lay here and let me bring you breakfast in bed

He got up out of bed pecking my lips before exiting our bedroom, not long after I heard the sound of our daughter's laughter echo through our house. Before leaving out to spend two months in Paris Tony and I found this nice four bedroom house within our price range and the yard is big enough for Tali to run around and instead of Tony walking away from NCIS completely he took a leave of absence to have time with his daughter and me. Today is supposed to be his first day back at work 

Tony and Tali came into the bedroom about thirty minutes after he'd left with heart shaped pancakes and orange juice on a tray, beside the breakfast laid a red rose "yom hu'ledet sameach ima" Tali said to me as she climbed onto the bed and kissed my cheek "Thank you sweetheart" I told her as I gave her a kiss (Tali said Happy Birthday Mom) "you and daddy are so sweet, this looks really good" I told them

Tony: We're glad you like it. 

We all laid together and had breakfast in bed before getting up to get dressed for our day. Tony gave both me and Tali a kiss goodbye before heading out to the office and I took Tali to the playground with senior joining us. She ran around laughing with him for a few hours getting herself so messy. When senior headed home I took Tali back home giving her a bath and dressing her before heading down to NCIS for our lunch date with her Abba who she's been asking for all day

As Tali and I got off of the elevator Abby ran over to us giving me a hug

Abby: happy birthday Ziva, oh my gosh it's so cute how you two match, she's like a mini you. Your both so adorable

"Thank you Abby" I told her as I walked into the bullpen where everyone were seated at there desks, after greeting them all I went over to Tony

Tony: how's my little pumpkin?

"I think you've turned our baby into a daddy's girl, all day she kept coming to me asking where is my Abba"  I told him and he smiled as he picked up a now giggling Tali kissing her cheek

Tony: I missed you just as much pumpkin. Zi is is okay if the guys join us for lunch today? They want to catch up. We haven't had a chance to do that since you've got back

"That's fine, I don't mind having company" Tony and I headed into the elevator with Tali holding his hand and McGee and Abby following

Tony: I missed you

He wrapped his arms around my waist and placed soft kisses on my lips causing me to giggle as his hands began roaming my body. Both of us forgetting that we were not alone for a second before I stopped him "Tony......"

McGee: get a room would you?

Abby: preferably one we're not in

My cheeks went red as I buried my face into Tony's chest giggling. Not long after the elevator doors opened and we headed out of the building together going down to the restaurant a few blocks away from the Navy base

Tali: Abba  I-cream

"You can have ice cream after lunch baby" she pouted the same way Tony does when he doesn't get what he wants from me "your really just like Abba aren't you?" I spoke to my now giggling baby

Tony: I mean how can you say no to that face? She's a DiNozzo, that kid knows how to get what she wants don't you pumpkin?

He kissed her cheek, after we all ordered our lunch we talked for a while before I got up to go change Tali's wet diaper in the ladies room. It didn't tale me long to get her changed and head back to the table. I hadn't been around much to catch up with Abby but hopefully we can do that now

Tony: Zi senior has a date so he won't be able to babysit tonight

"That's okay, I told you we didn't need to do anything special for my birthday" I assured

Tony: And I told you that there's no way we won't celebrate your birthday

He leaned in kissing my lips "so..... You okay with Bishop babysitting?" He asked

"You trust her so I don't see why not"

Abby: I can give her a hand. We'll have a sleepover at Bishop's place. Tali would you like to have a sleepover with auntie Abby and auntie Ellie?

Tali: auntie

Abby: yes munchkin, we're your aunties

Tali: auntie i-cream

Abby: oh she's definitely a DiNozzo

We all shared a laughter and after having a talk during lunch we went out to get Tali some ice cream before heading back to the office to get back to work. Tony kissed both sides of our daughter's cheeks as she giggled then he kissed my lips before my girls headed back home "I miss you already" I told him

Tony: just a few more hours before its just you and me

Gibbs: hands to yourself DiNozzo

"You should get back to work, I'll see you soon" I told him as I headed out with my little girl. I knew tonight would be a very memorable birthday
