We walk into the ocean. Blue surrounding us. Blue enveloping us. Blue encircling us. Blue, blue, blue.

"Wicked." Simon whispers.

The room is a tunnel the walls and roof are made of glass so that you can see the fish swimming around us. It almost feels as if we are inside the tank along with the fish. Overhead a shark swims, casting Simon and I in temporary shadow.

I wrap my arm around Simon. Basking in the blue. Light shines through the water making everything a deep shade of blue, blue, blue. I look into Simon's eyes and they're the color of pansies. He leans my head on my shoulder and we stand in awe of all the water and fish around us.

"This turned out to be one of the most interesting birthdays I have ever had," Simon murmured.

"It was awful, wasn't it?" I asked, actually worried he would say yes.

"No, it turned out beautiful in the end," he says, just before he kisses me.
