Her hair was the color of the bark she longed to touch,

And one couldn't even begin to describe her eyes, for their color changed with her mood.

Her voice echoed a calm and happy tune, deep in the waters.

As the moonlight illuminated the water, her scales reflected of cool pastels and tantalization—

It was all too easy to drown in her kiss, to become tangled in her necklace.

Yet, somehow, I rose to the surface, leaving her glistening tail flicking alone.

Yet my mind—my mind is still captivated by that soft skin, her lilting voice, those hypnotizing eyes.

There is only one question left now, haunting my every moment:

How long can I stay away?
