Prologue

Lee Jieun's POV

"Appa, stop please." I cried as he hit me non stop.

Yeah, my own father abuse me.

Why?

I don't know. All i know is that my father got stress because his company bankrupt when i was 14. Since then i have to do part time job to earn money.

Today he ask me for the money but i haven't recieve my salary so yeah, he beat me up.

My mother?

She ran away with some rich man after my father's company bankrupt.

Even though my father abuse me, he's the one who stay with me for this 3 years when my mother nowhere to be found.

Finally, he stop hitting me and went out from the house.

I walk slowly to my room as the my body aching with every step i take.

I look at my luggage at the corner of my room. Yes, i've been thinking to runaway for a few times but i have no heart to leave my father alone.

But now i've made my decision. I'll runaway from this house. I can't stand my father's behaviour anymore.
