Chapter 39:

“Anna? Harry? Who is this?” Anne asked as she walked onto the top deck where Harry, Aunt Debbie, and myself were standing.

“Hi! I’m Anna’s Aunt Debbie.” Aunt Debbie smiled at Anne. Anne looked at me confused. She knew I didn’t talk to any of my family members other then Louis and Joey.

“She is my mum’s older sister. She disowned me when I left my alcoholic mother. Oh and she almost got me killed when she told my dad that I told her he abused me.” I said to Anne. Anne’s eyes went wide and instantly glared at Aunt Debbie.

“Who invited you?” Anne asked her.

“Louis.” Aunt Debbie shrugged. My whole body tensed up. I swear to god if Louis invited her today I’m going to be pissed. He knows I don’t talk to ANY family member other then Joey and him.

“Harry why don’t you go get Louis and bring him out here.” Anne said to Harry. Harry looked down at me and I nodded at him. He sighed and walked away to go find Louis. Anne walked up to me and grabbed my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. Aunt Debbie stood by herself looking really uncomfortable. I really don’t know how I will react if Louis did infact invite her.

“Where is she?” I heard Louis ask. I looked up in time to see Harry point at Debbie.

“I’ve never seen you before.” Louis said to Debbie.

“We spoke on the phone.” She replied.

“No I didn’t and if we did I wouldn’t have invited you, because Anna doesn’t have any contact with her family members.” Louis snarled at her. Anne squeezed my hand a littler tighter before Harry walked over to me and pulled me into his side.

“Let’s go inside. Louis and my mum will deal with her.” Harry said pulling me gently inside. I let him pull me inside and over to a corner where no one else is.

“Are you okay?” Harry asked me.

“No I’m not Harry,” I snapped at him. He took a deep breath before he pulled me into his arms.

“We will get her off this boat and then we will go back to enjoying this day as if she never showed up.” Harry whispered in my ear. I wrapped my arms around him tightly and took a deep breath.

“I’m sorry I snapped at you. It wasn’t fair to you.” I whispered in his ear.

“It’s okay I understand.” He said.

“Oh there you are.” Anne said as her and Louis approached Harry and myself.

“She is gone. We used one of the smaller boats we had circling us to take her back to the docks.” Louis said clearly proud of himself for getting rid of her.

“How did she even get on here?” Harry asked.

“I’m not really sure actually. She wouldn’t tell us and nobody would tell me why they let her on.” Louis said clearly annoyed at the situation.

“I think I speak for both of us when I say thank god that she is gone. Now let’s get back to the party.” Harry smiled. We all nodded and started walking back towards our friends and families.

“Let’s just try and forget her showing up?” Harry asked/stated to me.

“Yeah, it just frustrates me that she only showed up because you and Louis have money.” I said.

“Yeah I know, so why don’t we forget it and just go eat some cake.” He smiled at me. I leaned up and kissed his cheek.

“Works for me.” I smiled at him.
