• Chapter 5 •

~Your POV~
I smiled as I made my way to the Aphrodite cabin since my close friend Piper insisted on dolling me up for the date. I sighed something still feeling off about the date. Yes I loved the super sized Mcshizzle, but I still felt strange going on a date with him. I began pondering before feeling myself being pulled behind the Aphrodite cabin suddenly.

I turned to face the person to see a red Nico, not knowing whether to talk due to not telling if his face was red with embarassment or anger. I looked at him concerned urging him to speak. I felt him sigh as his hand remained on my wrist.

"Y/N please don't go on date with Leo." I saw his face turn more red before seeing the urgency in his face. "And why not?" I said before crossing my arms pulling me out of his grasp, deciding to be stubborn. "B-because." I smirked deciding to push him further, "Because why?" I saw his face turn red before replying quite loudly, "Because of this." I was about to question before feeling myself being push against the wall and Nico's lips on mine, his hands on the wall on either side of me.

I stood still in shock not knowing how to respond. As I was debating what to do he pulled back with a saddened look on his face. "I see I was wrong. I-I'm sorry." I went to go grab his wrist before he disappeared but he shadow traveled before I could get a firm hold on his aviator.

My eyes widened as he was gone before going quiet. I looked on before realizing that was what was off. Nico was what that gut feeling was. I sighed as I looked down, deciding to cancel my date and go explain to Nico.

I sighed as I made my way to Bunker Nine. As I was walking towards the bunker I ran into Leo him looking at me guiltily. "Hey there's something I need to talk to you about" We both said at the same time, I insisted him to go first. "Listen I can't date you, you're my best friend and I only asked you out to try to get over Calypso. I'm sorry and I hope we can still be best friends." He said giving me half a smile. I smiled back and nodded, "Of course we'll still be best friends and I came to break up the date also cause I like Nico." He just chuckled and pat me on the back, "Go get him tiger."

I smiled before running towards the Hades cabin with determination. I'm going to make this right.
