Stevie left my room and closed the door behind her. I hid under my blankets and sighed. ''Ugh. WHYYY?'' I screamed in my pillow. Someone knocked on the door and I got up to open it. "I'm actually lost... Where's the front door?" Stevie asked, awkwardly. "Yeah it's uh... Wait let me show you." I said as I got out my room and led her to the door. "Goodbye Stevie." I said quickly and closed the door. I went back to my room snd under my blankets. Why Ally? She won't talk to you anymore. She told she wasn't gay. She also told you you were obnoxious. You failed hard Ally. I called Danny but he didn't answered. "Call me as soon as you can. I need to talk." I said and hang up.
"Bye Ally..." I said as she closed the door. I don't know what happened but... I kind of liked it. I went back to my appartment, tears streaming down my face. What are you doing to me Ally. I crashed on the couch next to Ziggy. I put my phone and dialed Rose's number. "Dix speaking!" She answered. "Hi, Rose... I have a problem here..." I said. "Is it Peter?" She asked excitedly. "No... It's Ally." I said. There was a short silence before Rose continued. "What has she done this time?" She asked. "Rose, it was the both of us... We kissed. And now I don't even know-" I said but got interrupted. "Say no more! I know what you're feeling... But here's the thing. I have nothing to say to you..." She said. "Wow! Thanks Rose. I'll see you at school tomorrow." I said and hung up. I went to my room and layed on my bed. I fell asleep soon after, thinking about Ally's eyes and smile.
I woke up the next day, not feeling too well. But this time it wasn't a hangover. I ate some pancakes that my mom had made for my dad and took some bacon slices. I drank my orange juice and took my keys and hopped in my car. I drove to school and Danny was waiting for me at the entrance. "Hey Hills, I got your message but I couldn't call you back. My mom was really angry..." He said as we walked inside. "It's okay..." I said. "But what was so important?" He asked. I stopped walking and turned to him. "You know Stevie?" I said. He nodded. "Well we kissed." I said abruptly. "Wait, what?" He said surprised. I walked to my locker without saying a word. I didn't want to talk about Stevie rejecting me. As I made my way to my locker, I stopped at the sight of Stevie. Shoot. She was with her friend. She smiled at me awkwardly and got back to her conversation. I opened my locker and both Stevie and her friend stopped talking. "You can resume your talk, the bitch is out." I said and left with my book under my arm.
I watched as Ally walked away. "I feel bad. I think she knows we were talking about her." I said. "It was pretty obvious Stevie. Even blind, someone could've guessed!" Rose said. "I'll see you at lunch" she added as the bell rang.
Great. French class. "Okay class! Vous vous souvenez de votre partenaire du dernier cours? Do you remember your partner from last class? Please team up." The teacher said. "This is great." I said, not noticing I said it out loud. "Yeah, I'm thinking the same." Said Ally as she put her chair next to mine. "Sorry, I..." I started but she finished my sentence. "It's fine. I couldn't ask more from a straight girl." She said, saying the word "straight" louder than the others. I kept quiet as she stared at me. The teacher came and told us what we had to do. "Thanks." I said as she went on with other teams. I turned to Ally and stared at her. "What." She said. "Pen and paper?" I said smiling. "I don't have any. Suits yourself." She said, almost angry. "Okay Ally, we both know that that kiss was a mistake. Can we forget about it now?" I said.
A mistake? "I've heard enough Steve. If you say it was a mistake then why did you kiss back? Not that I mind, I don't like you anyway." I said as I took my books and got up to leave. "I'm sorry miss, I don't feel too good." I said to the teacher and she let me go. I kept thinking about Stevie's face when I told her I didn't like her. She seemed hurt. Sad. I got into my car and drove home. Once again, I layed in my bed and hid under my cover. I cried until I fell asleep.
I woke up and took my phone. I had one missed call from Danny and a lot of messages. Some were from Danny and others were from an unknown number. I check them first and read them. "Hi Ally, it's Stevie. Danny gave me your phone number. Hope you don't mind. Anyway, I just wanted to let you knoe that we need to talk." It said. I quickly texted Danny, not even caring about his messages. "Thanks for giving my phone number to Stevie, friend." I pressed send and typed an answer to Stevie. "You need to talk to yourself. I'm not some kind of girl who doesn't know what she wants. I know who I like. I am gay, what about you Stevie?" I quickly read it again and sent it. I put my phone away and went downstair to eat something. I was alone since my parents were working late. The doorbell rang and I went to answer it. As soon as I opened it, I regretted it. Stevie was standing there. With a sad expression. "So what, you were right. I do like girls but at the moment, I just need a friend." She said as she started crying.
Ally went into the kitchen and came back with a glass of water. I sat on the couch as gave me the glass and sat next to me. "Do you... Want to talk about it?" She asked uncomfortable. "There's nothing to say." I said harshly. "Okay, well... " She said as she sunk into the couch. "I'm sorry, I don't know why I came here. I just needed company and all I could think about was you. I'm sorry for everything I've done. I didn't mean to kiss you and forget that you had feelings too." I said. "It's okay. No feelings attached." She said. "Well now I know that Peter was just a fling." I said. "So was I..." She said under her breath. She thought I didn't hear it but I did. "Can we... Be friends?" I asked. She nodded and gave me a hug. I started crying again, knowing that my feelings for her were not shared.

Kind of a cliché romance story! Ally is the high school bad ass and openly gay. Stevie is more reserved and "straight". They will certainly hate eachother but will there be something more?
