Angelina's POV

With sweaty palms, a heart pounding against my chest and my feet feeling like they were stuck in quick sand while I stood frozen at the bottom of our steps near the living room. The guys and I were all downstairs now contemplating our next move.

Well there next move. I was too scared to move let alone talk about this.

"The offer still stands Angel." Drew stared at me with caring eyes. They all knew how scary this was for me, And new. I didn't feel like I was ready for Titus.

He was So controlling and demanding,  he doesn't even listen to me. I mean he hears me when I talk but he does not listen.

"Fuck it I'm going out there." My eyes shot up as Hayes threw the door open like he wanted to wrip it off, Colt followed after him. They went outside and everything suddenly went silent. Even with our wolf hearing I could tell Hayes and Titus were mumbling to each other but I didn't know what they were saying.

Drew and Ty walked over to me and Tyler crushed my body into his giving me a much needed hug.
"It will be okay angel, don't be scared." He whispered rubbing my back soothingly.

"I just feel like I'm back where I started." I shook my head while Drew and Tyler listened to me.
"Titus will cause a war if I don't go, and if I do go I'll be miserable."

Just then, Hayes, Colt and surprisingly Cain walked through the door. I gasped because knowing he was sent by Titus was startling.

"He wants to talk." Hayes told me and crossed his arms. "You don't have to though, I can kick him right back out." Hayes shrugged and Cain chuckled. Not because he thought it was funny but because he had a heated angry streak like Titus, I could see it in his eyes. He was a monster when angry as well, he was just better at hiding it.

Cain adverted his eyes over to me and they turned soft. "Can we please talk, Angelina?" I immediately nodded. It was Cain after all. I got a good vibe from
Him from the moment he first spoke to me at Titus's pack house. He was a good guy.

"Alone?" He suggested looking around at my friends.

"Fuck no." Hayes spat.

"idiot." Drew chuckled.

"Yes." I nodded at Cain again and everyone looked at me. "We can talk alone because i trust you." I told him while looking directly At him. I could tell he was relieved that I did.

"I trust him." I told Hayes and he glared at me. I ignored him and turned to Walk in the opposite direction of the house. "Follow me Cain."
I walked into the kitchen and Leaned against the sink. Seconds later Cain strolled through the door. His face was as serious as ever as he stood across from me leaning against the fridge.

Cain looked down and sighed. His dark eyes looked bothered by something.
"My brother is very sorry."

I immediately  looked down at the floor. Oh god. "Angel." Cain whispered.

"I don't know what to do." I blurted out.
"He's....he's too much. I just can't." My eyes were getting a little teary this was such a touchy subject. Titus is my mate, we are suppose to love and cherish each other. I'm not suppose to be scared of him and he isn't suppose to be bossing me around like I'm his god damn pet.

"So you're going to give up on him?" Cain whispered.

He made my eyes travel to his face which was slightly identical to Titus. "Don't say that." I sniffled.
