The next morning, I couldn't help but giggle as I was woken up to fingers tickling my feet.

"Morning." Sean's deep voice cooed as his fingers stopped tickling.

Smiling, I opened my eyes and was greeted by the sight of Sean sitting on the edge of the bed, wearing a pair of ripped denim jeans and nothing else.

In front of him was a tray set with plates of eggs, bacon, pancakes and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.

I instantly got suspicious. Sean was all for making me breakfast but breakfast in bed? The only time he did that was when he had to leave for a particularly long time on some trip or another.

"Hungry?" Sean asked, gesturing at the tray with a proud smile.

Nodding in reply, I scooted down over to Sean, reached over and took a bite of eggs before I looked up at him, knowing perfectly well what was going on.

"So... how long?" I asked, swallowing the eggs.

The smile disappeared from Sean's face and he looked at me, sheepishly.

"A week," he sighed, running a hand through his adorably mussed hair. "Maybe more."

I tried very hard not to groan out loud.

"So, I'm alone for a week?" I couldn't help but whine.

"Actually, how would you feel about staying over at Angie's?" Sean offered, curiously.

"Go on." I raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

"She said you could stay over until we get back. You two could have a girl's week."

"That would be nice," I said, slowly. "It's just.... well... it won't be the same."

"Um," Sean feigned concern. "I would hope not."

Getting what he was insinuating, I slapped him on the back of his head and he laughed.

"Seriously though, don't turn gay or anything, okay?" he asked in a more serious tone. "I mean, I know it'll be hard, what, seeing as how you're going to be away from me for a week. It's only natural that you're going to miss all this!" he smirked, gesturing at his naked torso.

I rolled my eyes at his words and just took another bite of eggs.

"But it's completely natural," he assured me. "And if you two do anything just because you're horny or something, I want you to know that it's perfectly alright. As long as you record it."

At those last few words, I let out a strangled cry and reached over to pummel him with a pillow.

"Or," Sean gasped, breathless from laughter. "a picture, at least!"

I couldn't hold it back anymore; I collapsed onto him, holding my sides as I laughed. After a while, I finally caught my breath and looked up at him with a smile, my head on his lap.

"Seriously if you do anything, show me a picture." Sean insisted, smiling down at me.

"If Angie and I do anything, I'll try very hard to remember to set up a camera." I rolled my eyes.

Sean chuckled and as he looked down at me I thought about how much I was going to miss him when he went away. Because, as much as I tried to deny it, I knew that this bad boy had broken through the walls I'd built around my heart and was slowly stealing it away, invoking feelings I hadn't even known that I was capable of feeling.
