Ashlyn and I walked down the hall together. Another day had come to an end and everyone was scurrying to get home.

"Bye!" I called to Ashlyn when I saw Drake standing at the end of the hall on his phone. He looked good today in black jeans and a dark blue shirt that hugged his body in all the right places. I kept picking up my pace until I was running.

He must have heard my footsteps hitting the ground because he looked up from his phone, and when his eyes met mine, a big smile broke out on his face. I didn't slow down until my chest collided with his in a hug. He picked me up and swung me around several time before setting me down.

"That was so cliché and now I feel disgusted," he told me while nudging our noses against each other.

"So is doing that, dick face," I pushed on his chest and walk away from him.

"What did you just call me, missy?" he asked before grabbing my hand and walking with me. I started swinging our hands back and forth while we walked towards the choir room.

Drake is a surprisingly good singer and we are both the presidents of choir. Our choir teacher asked all choir presidents and officers to come after school and help decorate the room for a party we are having the next day.

"Dick face," I said nonchalantly

He rolled his eyes and pulled me closer to him so that his arm could wrap around my waist.

"Drake!" I call, my hands holding a sign above my head. "We require your tallness."

He laughed at me and this girl named Sadie, both of us on the short side, trying to hang a poster higher than either of us could reach. He came up behind me and purposely pushed his crotch against my back and he put the tape over the corner at the top.

When he was done, he placed a kiss on my ear before he was called elsewhere to help. I continued placing paper music notes in random places and putting chairs in circles for a game that they were going to play tomorrow during class.

"Is that Drake?" a small girl came up behind me and asked. I turned around and nodded my head slowly. "Oh, my friend and he are together. They are so cute. He is her screensaver in his phone."

I stifle back a laugh and push past her. "What is your problem?" she spits at me.

I take a deep breath before turning around the face her.

"Look, sweetheart, I don't know who your friend is, but she isn't the one he likes. I happen to be his girlfriend and I think I know best," I tell her in very clear words. She jaw was set to the side in annoyance and I took that as my que to leave.

"You don't know what he does when you aren't around," she calls.

"Oh but I do. Because he spends every free second he has with me," I voice. I was angry and you could tell by the anger seeping out in every word I spoke.

"Whatever bitch," she spits before trying to walk away but another voice joins the conversation.

"I would highly suggest never saying that to her again," Drakes deep voice says from behind me before I was in comforting embrace. "Who are you?"

"I'm Kam friend," she said and now she looked nervous. I don't blame her. Drake does look intimating if you don't know him, but when you do, you realize that he is just a big softie. Drake let out a loud, venomous laugh before taking a step back.

"And you're calling her a bitch?" he turns around to point at me, "I would really reevaluate your friend choices."

I could help it anymore and laugher bubbled out of mouth. My hand flew up to cover it but her face was already bright red. She turned around quickly and ran out of the room.

I hit Drakes arm but he just laughed with me.

Drake and I were both walk out of the school doors and slowly walk around the campus.

"I don't really want to leave yet," I confess to him. He looks down at me and a little smile dances across his lips. "I don't really want to leave you yet."

I stop in my tracks and look down at my feet. I'm scared of losing him and he isn't even mine to have. That is what hurts the most, because I wanted to be able to tell that girl that I am his girlfriend without feeling like I was lying.

His finger rested on my chin and forced me to look at him. He placed a small kiss on my nose, both my cheeks, and finally my lips before pulling back. His eyes looked at me so intently, it felt as if they could see right through me.

"We don't have to go yet, baby. And you never really have to worry about us being apart. You know that I am always just a phone call away."

I nodded my head and rested it against his shoulder. "Let's go sit down, yeah?" he asked. He pulled on my hand and made me walk over to grass. I sat down next to him and he wrapped one arm around my shoulder.

The sun was setting, setting the sky into flames of orange, purple and blue.

I had one hand resting on Drakes thigh and the other was holding his hand. After we had sat there for a while, I got bored so I slowly started moving my hand upwards. I heard him suck in a sudden shaky breath before grabbing both of legs and pulling them over his. It made it to where I couldn't touch his legs.

"I'm stealing your legs," he informed me. I threw my head back laughing at the random statement.

"Why?" I bat my eyes innocently.

"You know why," he told me with a stern look.

"Yeah, I do," I said while kissing down his jaw until I found his weak spot and left a nice mark there. Just to make sure he will remember me.
