Justin's POV:
When I stepped inside my Physics class, everyone's state was right at me. Usually people stare at me like this when I come to class late but today I was on time just like everyone else, I don't understand. I took a seat at my usual desk. Two girls that were right beside me giggled and pointed at me. Did I miss something? Why is everyone acting so weird. Considering the fact that I am the biggest loser in the school, I should be used to people staring at me and laughing at me.
Even Mr. Moore was giving me looks. Maybe it's my glasses, it's not the one I wear everyday, are the lenses too big, is it too loose. Or what if it's the way I'm dressed. I threw on anything my hands could land on this morning, I did look like a mess. I tried ignoring all of them. I took out my notebook and pencil and jotted down the notes on the board. I was interrupted seconds later when someone tapped me on the shoulder.
I turned around to find Valerie Hill, the hottest cheerleader in the school. She was admired by all the jocks and every guy to ever walk in Richwell High had a crush on her. From what I heard, she was hard to get. You can try and flirt with her but she had high standards in guys, she rarely dates anyone, she just fools around with you once then moves on to the next person afterwards. Valerie scared me a little. I remember when we went to the same middle school. Back then she wasn't known as hot and innocent Valerie, she was known as bad ass Val. The school bully. She used to bully me once or twice..maybe two times...okay she bullied me throughout middle school I never understood why but I was really embarrassed. Not at the fact that I was getting bullied but at the fact that it was a girl bullying me.
"Hey Val" I nervously gulped. The memories of her fist hitting my fact still haunts me till this day.
"Nobody calls me Val anymore" she said a bitter anger at the nickname.
"I'm sorry" I motioned my notebook in front of my face so she won't have a good angle to punch me.
"I heard you knocked up Ariana last night, is it true?"
"By knocked up what exactly do you mean" I wasn't hip with this modern day slang. I'm like two generations late, so when people use words that different from what I usually speak I get so confused.
"You gave her a piece"
"I'm still not comprehending"
She sighed, "did you have sex with her"
"Goodness no! I mean something did happen last night but nothing like that" where do people even come up with these rumors?
"Don't worry first times are alway hard to admit Bieber" she lightly patted me on the back.
"I didn't have--"
"I know we didn't have the best past together" she cut me off. "How about we put our differences aside you seem like a pretty cool person now" am I really hearing this right? The person who spent all years of middle school torturing me and calling me all sorts of names, thinks I'm cool now?
"Uh thanks I think?" I was unsure of what was happening today.
"Give me a call" she winked while pulling out a paper from the inside of her shirt.
I slowly turned around shocked. Valerie Hill just gave me her number all because she thinks I had sex with Ariana Grande?? What on earth is going on. Wait. Is that why everyone is giving me stares. Do they actually think..
"Can anyone tell me what's the difference between energy and power in the physics form" Mr. Moore asked the class. Everyday was the same. Mr. Moore would go in front of the class and teach us about Physics while the whole class, except me, would be uninterested. He would then start asking questions but nobody would raise their hand to answer. I couldn't resist because being the nerd I am, I knew all the answers to his question. My hand was the only one that shot up in the air. He pointed at me to answer.
