"What are you up to today?" Tyler asked as we were doing last minute homework in the library. Actually, he is the one doing homework, I'm just reviewing mine.

"As usual, I'm quite not available after school." I smiled sheepishly at him and he chuckled

"It's fine. I guess I could schedule on the weekend?" I nodded and he gave out a small smile

"Sounds good."

After a few seconds of silence, he suddenly perked up which surprised me. "Oh yeah! I gotta go to the Science Lab today. Miss Briggs told me to help her arrange the lab equipment during lunch. I'll see you later okay?"

"Teacher's pet." I teased as he stood up and gathered his things

"Am not!" He protested and stuck his tongue out at me before proceeding to exit the library

I chuckled to myself and packed up. There was still time so I decided to stay for a while and finish the book I was currently reading.

In the middle of a paragraph, somebody suddenly sat next to me. Once I glanced at who it was, I placed in my bookmark and closed the book to face them.

"Hey there." He replied, smirking. "Do you like fish?"

I looked at him weirdly. "What kind of question is that?"

"I don't know. Just... Do you like fish?" He shrugged and I struggled to fight off the urge to pinch his cheeks seeing how cute he was

"A little." I replied. "Grey get to the point."

"I was thinking we could go to this sea food restaurant down the block at your place. They said the squid rings were awesome and I figured since we both haven't been there, we'd go there later."

"Well I'm okay with fish." I started. "But I do love squid rings and crabs."

"Well that's settled then! Seafood place later." He stood up.

"Like a date huh?" I teased and when he looked back at me, I saw his face drop

"U-uh... Well I-I...." My heart dropped at those words, seeing that he couldn't even bear a joke between the two of us dating

"Hey. I was kidding." I gave him a fake but reassuring smile and he gave me back a guilty one

"R-right. See you later."

As soon as he disappeared in my sight, I mumbled a soft "See you."

Period cramps are shit.

I was currently in the hallway with my head leaned against the locker. The day was already done but I don't think I could move another step without my cramps getting worse.

"Are you kidding me? How can that happen?"

"Apparently somebody saw them so they took a picture."
