"I'm sorry for kinda forcing you to come with me." Jimin said with an apologetic look.
"Oh, it's nothing. I didn't have anything better to do anyways." I replied with a shrug.
We walked around the park. You would probably think it's a fairly petite fairy-tale-like park but I guess because of the size of our community, it was huge. It would probably take you over 30 minutes just to walk the perimeter.
"So..." I started.
"Are your parents in Korea?" I asked kicking a pebble away.
"Mhm. I'm living alone in the new apartment around here." Jimin said while readjusting his snapback.
It was really awkward for both of us. After all, I barely knew him yet he still decided to hang out.
"'Sup y/n. Where are you right now?"
"Oh I'm around the park."
"Alone?" I turned and looked at Jimin. He gave me a smile.
"Huh? Uhm no. With a..a friend. Why are you calling though?"
"Oh. Well Taemin was looking for you."
"Oh sh*t! I totally forgot we had a date today. Well I'll call you when I get home. Byeeee~"
"Everything alright?" Jimin asked, tilting his head.
"Sorry, I totally forgot. I have a date with my boyfriend today." I put my hands together and bowed.
"Mhm. I'm so sorry. Anyways, I'll see you tomorrow morning. Bye." I ran towards the bus stop and took the bus to the mall.
"Where were you?!" Taemin pulled me to the corner of the food court.
"Sorry... I forgot."
"Something as important as our date... Seriously!" He walked off towards a clothing shop with me following behind.
I've been dating Taemin for about 2 months now. We met right after school ended last year. He's a year older than me, so in grade 12. Honestly, I don't even understand why I'm still going out with him. He's a little, scratch that, he's very controlling and hates seeing me with absolutely anyone that's a guy. This can include strangers to friend's brothers. Although it was cute at first, it got tiring.
"Y/N! Which one?" Taemin picked up 3 tees.
"Um, how about this one?" I pointed to the one in the middle.
"No, this one doesn't really match well with my skintone." He threw it aside.
"Then... The grey one."
"I have a ton of these already... And the last one just looks tacky." Taemin threw both of them back into the pile. We walked out of the store with nothing in hand.
It was starting to get dark. Taemin offered to take me home but I said it was fine. He gave me a quick hug before leaving.
I managed to somehow miss the last bus (even though it comes every 15 minutes) and so I had to walk home. 8:16 p.m. By the time i get home, it'll probably be 8:45. I still haven't ate dinner yet.
My legs were starting to get sore. I guess this is what happens when you don't exercise for more than a year.
As I turned to the corner of my street, I hear a shuffling noise. I paused for a second and started to walk more carefully. Could it be?
High schooler, Y/N from M high school found dead.
F*ck. It couldn't be. Rig-
Before I could even finish my thought, a pair of hands were on my shoulders. I screamed.
Honestly, I wasn't going to add Taemin in there, but I didn't know how I could develop the story soooooo yea. And I also thought it was different from other stories because the main character usually doesn't start off taken already.
See you in my next chapter and don't forget to smile! :)
