The age-old question of how to get more reads has been around since any Wattpadder can remember. We searched far and wide for answers, and after much digging, we've finally uncovered the secrets to the art of writing on Wattpad.

Okay writers, time for some #realtalk. We didn't want to believe it either, but it looks like people do in fact judge books by their covers.
After doing some science-y experiments, we discovered that stories with attractive covers get 20x more reads than stories without one. So what are you waiting for? Say alakazam! and start winning over those eyeballs with your brand new book cover.
Just kidding, we know it's not that easy. Here are some easy ideas to get started:
1. Use the Desynger app (available on all platforms). You can go here to learn more about Desynger.
2. Use tools like Canva. If you prefer working on desktop, Canva is a great option. Simply go to www.Canva.com, and click on Create a Design. Scroll down to the Bloggers and ebooks section or select the Wattpad Book Cover template to get started. Several covers are available for free, and more can be purchased.

3. Ask the Wattpad community. There are so many talented cover creators on Wattpad, why not connect with one of them in Wattpad's forums? Here's a great place to start: the Story Services club's covers and graphics section.
