Soon the doctor let the loud family see Lincoln. The family entered Lincoln's hospital room and they wished they hadn't. Lincoln had an oxygen mask covering his nose and mouth, his skin was pale, was drenched in sweat, and had an I.V tube in his arm.
Mom: I'm going to talk to the doctor, you guys keep an eye on your brother.
All kids but Lily: yes mom
Mom: hi doctor
Doctor: hello you must be Lincoln's mom.
Mom: yes, so I was wondering what is wrong with my son.
Doctor: he had a mild fever and it made him go into a coma which also made breathing hard for him to do.
Lily heard this and began crying.
Mom: it's okay sweetie.
