Chapter 05

Knock knock

A confused expression rushed into Tori's face. Who on the Earth would be knocking at her door in 10 pm?!
She grab her wand and slowly went from her comfy, warm armchair to wooden front door.
"Who's there?"
"Are you kidding me Tori? Open that door."her brother's voice answered.

She slowly opened them to see her brother's and his fiancee with smiles on their faces. They were happy to see her but what happened next washed thrir smiles away. Tori grabbed James by his collar, pinned him against wall and press her wand against his neck.

He was always taller and stronger then his sister but this shocked him. That icy glare she gave him, that strong grip on his collar and her wand on his neck.

"What was the first thing I ever said?"she asked roughly.
"Tori what the hell..." "Answer.The.Question."she kept glaring at him.
"Jamie. You said Jamie."and she let him go but quickly closed the door. When she turned around she felt two pairs of eyes burning into her but she didn't look up. She just went past them into the kitchen. "Do you want some tea?"she asked like nothing happened and when she heard yes she waved her wand and started preparing water.
James interrupted a dead silence.

"Can you finally tell me what the hell was that?"
A sigh escaped her lips when she run a hand through her hair. What she hasn't noticed was that her move uncovered a big , fresh looking scar on her right temple. "Sorry. Just a habit I guess."
"Tori what happened?"asked shocked Lily looking at the scar.Tori smiled a little. "It's nothing." "Nothing? Tori what the hell happened?" "If I tell you, will you finally shut up?" James nodded. She took a deep breath and started to preparing tea with her back toward them.
"Few days back when Fabian and Gideon were murdered me and Mad Eye went there. They were dead when we arrived but few Death Eater were still there. Dolohov, Rookwood and Greyback."she sigh and turn to them with two mugs in her hands and handed it to them.
"This is Dolohov's work."she pointed at that scar but her eyes were on her mug. "Did you arrest them?"asked James with raised eyebrow. She shook her head. "They escaped. We reported them but they don't believe that Rookwood is a spy. But tommorow is Karkaroff's trial so maybe he will tell something."she paused for a while but then a polite smile replaced her frown.
"So what was urgent that you had to come here in ten in the evening?"
James and Lily exchanged a nervous look and Tori noticed."What happened? Were you attacked or..." "Tori calm down. It's not a bad new." James chuckled.
"What is it then?"her look traveled between James and Lily.
"Victoria Rose Potter, you will be an aunt."

James walked out from a room and his eyes immediately found his sister who just arrived all stressed and sweaty but she was there. He smiled whrn she walked up to her.

"So? What happened? Are they okay? Don't tell me...."

"Calm down Tori. They are both okay."he chuckled at this ball of nerves that he called sister.

"Can I see them?"

"Come."he smiled and led her to his wife and newborn child.

"Tori let me introduce you to Harry James Potter."
