Please talk to me.
I miss you.
Just call me if you get a second.
Drake has sent text after text to me since I left. His concern has grown little by little every day. I made Steven promise to not tell anyone where I was after I finally told him. He has surprisingly kept me updated with everything that has happened between Drake and Blake since I left.
Apparently they got in a fight during lunch yesterday and now Drake has a black eye and Blake's lip is busted. I don't understand them. One second they don't want anything to do with me and the next they are starting fights in the middle of the cafeteria because of me (or at least that's what Steven said).
Sapphire was still asleep next to me, her leg twitching slightly in her sleep. If anyone told me that Sapphire was beautiful, I would tell them that they are wrong, because she is so much more. She isn't beautiful in the way that you may think though.
Her hair was brown and sat in curls that fell and stopped just before her shoulders. Her bangs were colored hot pink, which caused her to stand out more than she already did. She has big chocolate brown eyes that can convince you to do anything.
Her skin is dark but still shines brighter than anything in the dark. She is small and strong. She has her scars but she wears them with pride, knowing that she has overcome them and is stronger now. I couldn't look up to her more than I already do for that.
I know that I need to respond to Drake, so that he knows that I'm okay but I'm afraid that if I do, I'll end up giving in to him. I'll end up saying that I forgive him and maybe one day I will, but I can't just yet. He hurt me. Not only did he know that I never liked Taylor in the first place, while we are on a date he ends up kissing her.
Drake knows about every relationship I have been through and he knows about every guy that has ever cheated on me. I never thought that he would be one to do that to me too and he even told me that he could never cheat on anyone. I guess there is a first time for everything.
I can't exactly call it cheating though, because we aren't actually together. He has never asked me to be his girlfriend so I can't control who he kisses. Maybe I am taking this too far but he actually tricked me into thinking that he cared. Now I know that Drake is not capable of caring for someone, especially not in the way that I need.
My fingers tremble as I type out a response, thinking though each word that I write down. I need to do this the right way and he can't know that I ran away from my problems. From him.
I needed to leave for a bit. I miss you too. Maybe we can talk later tonight?
I took a deep breath before hitting the send button, locking my phone before he could read it. I rolled my body over in Sapphires bed so that I was facing her. My hand lightly started shaking her before she started to stir.
"Wake up, lazy ass. It's almost noon," I laughed at her. She groaned and stretched her arms above her head but soon pulled the covers over her head. Instead of trying harder to wake her up, I walked into her bathroom and started her shower.
I stripped myself from my clothes and stepped into the steaming water, soaking up all the warmth. I used her shampoo and conditioner before finishing off with my own face soap and body wash. Once I had shut off the water and stepped out from behind the glass doors, I wrapped myself in a towel and walked towards the mirror.
Today has got to be a good day.

"I can't believe you actually did it," Sapphire laughed loudly as she still held the camera towards me. I laughed along with her and shrugged my shoulders.
"You know I'm not one to turn down a dare, no matter how embarrassing it may be," I told her, trying my best to ignore the camera she had held in my face.
We just left target where she dared me to get an old lady to buy condoms for me. She made sure to document everything with her camera so that she can post it to her vlog channel later. When she first staring vlogging and recording me, I was shy but I've gotten more comfortable with it.
I've also came to the realization that she is going record me, no matter what I say.
We pulled up to her small house and pulled all of our bags into the house, including the condoms. Her room looked like a meadow of plastic and paper bags.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket to see if my mom had texted me to see that I had a text from Drake and a missed phone call. Normally, I would be mad at him for not leaving me alone, but I still can't ignore the butterflies that are flying around in my abdomen.
When I opened his first message, I couldn't help but smile at his cheesiness.
Just act like you love me.
We both share a passion for Shawn Mendes, and he loves to quote his songs as well as sing them.
It only took seconds for Sapphire to steal my phone out of my hand though and start reading the message. She laughed at me before I heard ringing in the background. Not just normal ringing.
She is facetiming him.
I yelp and jump forward, tying to retrieve the phone from her small hands but she turns her back to me so that I can't get it. When he answers it, he is wearing a beanie and only little pieces are sticking out from it. I couldn't help but admire how handsome he is, even when he isn't trying.
"You must be Drake. I've heard a lot about you, good and bad. Did you hurt my little Riley?" she asked him in a motherly tone. He look confused as to who she is and I had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing.
"Yes but that wasn't my intentions. She needs to let me explain what happened," he rushed out. She just laughed and him and shook her head.
"I'm not worried about it. That is between you two to figure out. I just want to know more about you," she spoke happily.
"Okay. Ask me anything and I promise to tell the truth," he told her. I smiled at the memory of the game that we used to play. We would stay up until three in the morning some days playing that game, with pointless questions but we also learned so much about each other.
Sapphire sat in silence, trying to concoct a question to ask him. He shifted his gaze from her over to me, sending me a small smile, and I sent one back. We held eye contact until Sapphire outburst with excitement.
"What is your favorite color?" she asked him quickly. I laughed, louder than I intended to. She sent me a glare, "What are you laughing for?"
"You got that excited over that question?" I laughed at her. She shrugged her shoulders and turned her attention back to Drake. He smiled at her before looking back at me.
"Probably blue," he said, smirking, "I love blue eyes."
I have blue eyes. Flirt.
"Celebrity crush?" she fired again.
He looked taken back, "What do you mean?"
She laughed at him and looked at me. She doesn't understand that just because we are obsessed with celebrities and have crushes on the majority of them, doesn't mean that everyone does.
"Everyone has a celebrity that they think is attractive. For example, Jc Caylen. Or Michael Clifford," she clarified for him.
"I don't really have any. Most of the girls who live around me are pretty attractive," he said. My heart dropped. Maybe he was just using me again. He doesn't actually care about me.
"Including the one sitting next to you."
And with that, a blush covered my face and I hid myself in my oversized hoodie.
