Chapter11- I'm Sorry

Chapter 11

Diagon Alley felt the same as always, magical. I have already bought my books and the rest of the things I needed

‘Skye you ready to go?’ Ron asked, we walked beside each other behind everyone else

‘Let’s get some food at the Leaky Cauldron then go back to my house’ I said and we all started walking towards our destination.

We were just a few feet away when I heard a voice

‘Ron?’ the voice said Ron turned around and I did the same

‘Hermione? H-how are y-you’ he stuttered.

She looked happy and angelic but it could just be fake

‘Same as ever how was running away with Skye?’ she laughed.

Everyone I guess seen her to and they all ran over to her and gave her a hug hello. I didn’t do anything I just stood there. Hermione stopped talking with everyone and looked at me.

‘Hi Skye how was running away?’ she asked nicely

‘Good actually’ I said in the nicest voice as possible

‘So are you going back to Hogwarts?’ she asked walking over to me

‘Yes I’ll be attending some classes and what not’ I said

‘I just want to let you know that I really am sorry for everything that happened before I was just being a stubborn witch and I was just insecure about everything’ she said in a normal tone

‘Thanks but you have to show me you actually are sorry because I still don’t trust you’ I said

‘Understandable I hope I can earn your forgiveness and be friends’ she stuck her hand out for a shake so I shook it

‘So Hermione how has the rest of your summer been?’ Harry asked beside Ron

‘Good I’ve been visiting some old wizarding places with my parents’ she said wit a little laugh

‘Wonderful but we should be going, see you at Hogwarts’ he said and they all went into the Leaky Cauldron

‘Bye Hermione’ Ron said

‘Bye’ I said and we left her to herself and went into the Leaky Cauldron.

We got back home and I just went into the kitchen and grabbed some food. I made some hot chocolate and heard someone walk in

‘You gonna make some for me to’ I turned around to see Mad-Eye

‘Yeah sure, so how are you’ I asked pouring some hot chocolate in mugs and giving one to Alastor and had one for my self; I sat down with him and started eating potato chips.

‘Did you hear someone from the ministry is going to be your new DADA teacher’ he said

‘No; do you know who it is?’ I asked finishing my drink

‘Not yet but I heard there also changing the curriculum so they’re probably there to help keep it in order’ he said darkly.

‘Well I’m going up stairs and start organizing everything for school’ I got up and walked to my room.

I was walking up the last set of stairs when the twins popped in

‘So you going to help us prank some teachers this year’ Fred asked

‘You know we could use your help’ George finished

‘Rather not boys all I want to do is protect Harry and watch for anything suspicious’ I said and walked over to my door

‘Well let us know if you change your mind’ ‘you would be a great asset to us’ they said

I shut my door and went over to my desk.

I started reading my DADA textbook and started highlighting little things to remember. I always used to do this back when I was in 1st and 3rd year; I was such a nerd when it came to my learning. I was about half way through my reading when I heard a tapping at my window. I looked over to see Ron’s owl with a letter on its leg. I walked over and opened my window, took the letter and gave him/her a little piece of food.

I opened up the letter

See you at dinner. Did you feel awkward with seeing Hermione I did?

It was a weird letter but whatever. I ripped it up and put it in the trash.

Dinner passed and it was boring; the rest of the day was extremely dull. I started to think about how life was when I did go to school and if it would be the same as it was back than but I know it wont because I’m not the same as I was before.
