The Strength To Go On

I don't know what i did to deserve this
I wish i knew how to make it stop.
I don't think i can take another hit
"This battle's mine, I can't believe how hard I've fought."

I turn to you and say "I am so proud of you and how far you've come
It's just a bit longer, i know you can do it.
It's always darkest just before the dawn.
The sun's about to come up, there's nobody i'd rather watch it with."

I wish i had known to listen to you...
I am so relieved that those days are gone
Every word you spoke to me, they are all true.
Thanks to you i had the strength to go on.
