Sadie's POV.
I am so pissed at my mom. How dumb can she get? She only thinks of things that are convenient for her, and doesn't worry about how the decisions she make will affect anyone in this house. Even her own husband. She isn't even my real mom? She's my stepmother. I might as well just call her my mom though, because God knows my real mother doesn't want anything to do with me.
So one of her friends from high school's sons is wanting to move to Alabama to come to our high school. He plays football and in my opinion worships it, and he thinks coming down here will give him a better chance at getting drafted for the University of Alabama. So guess what? She tells her friend that he can come live with us. Jack is his name. What a basic name. Jack.
From what I have seen of him, he's pretty hot, so that's cool. And he is around my age, so that's a plus. But I still don't need someone else coming to live here. Of course I am happy someone my age will be here, someone that I can talk to. After my mother left us, I have no one to talk to. My sister is too young and my step brother is weird. My dad is a grown man, and my step mother is a bitch most of the time. Just wait until Jack gets here, I bet she will kiss his ass.
He is supposed to get here in a week. It's the end of May, and we just got out of school. He wants to spend the whole summer here to get used to it, and go to football practice, of course. He better not be annoying. I am being so pessimistic, I need to stop. I'm never this mean. I don't know why, but I am so angry about this new resident we are having come stay with us. I just need to hope for the best, and maybe it will be great.
