Fourth year potions proved to be more difficult than usual for Draco Malfoy. Not that he didn't enjoy it, he did, just recent emotions had proven to be a distraction. He kept finding himself zoning out... on a certain shaggy haired boy with round glasses. In the past year since the Triwizard Tournament started, Draco had discovered some feelings he didn't know he could feel for his enemy. It made his heart flutter, yet tormented him at the same time.
"What is it? What's going on with you?" Pansy spoke up.
The blonde was snapped out of his thoughts by his friend sat next to him.
"What?" he stuttered, regaining his composure. "I don't know what you're talking about."
The girl sighed, shaking her head.
"You've been acting weird and zoning out a lot lately. Something's wrong."
"No, nothing's wrong..."
"If there's nothing wrong, tell me what you're thinking about." Pansy stated, sternly.
Draco gulped, swallowing a large lump in his throat, and attempting to avoid eye contact as he shrunk under his friend's never-breaking gaze. Knowing Pansy, she wouldn't let this go easily. Thing was, he couldn't exactly say what he was thinking in the same room as him, or anyone for that matter.
"Hmm? What was that? I can't hear you over the sound of lies." Pansy scoffed. "If you were okay you would at least be able to tell me about your thoughts, Draco. Be honest, what's wrong?"
"I can't..." He sighed. "At least not now, not here."
Later during dinner, the two went to the deserted girl's bathroom so no one could hear the conversation. As soon as they shut the door, Draco put a silencing charm on the locked door. He didn't want anyone overhearing them or thinking two people were even in there.
"Spill it, Draco." She commanded, her eyes scanning his.
He took in a deep breath, looking down and shifting his feet uncomfortably.
"Don't you dare laugh or say a word to anyone, alright?"
"Alright. But don't make me pinky-swear or whatever those ghastly first years do."
"Okay..." He took a shaky, inward breath. "I think I like Potter."
This is a collaboration between me and Rini2012 after meeting on a Drarry fic. We decided to write our own and me helping her out went on to a full swing collab. We're posting this on mine as she is currently working on a collaborative fic with someone else on her profile.
Becs-She speaks the truth. We met on "It Was All Just A Game" (which you NEED to read) and continued to talk. I thought about doing my own, and it just sort of went on from there. I have a different Septiplier collab going on in my profile, so we're on her's. Hope you guys will enjoy it :)
