When it comes to boys, Lena Jennings is the total opposite of an expert. During the summer before her last year of high school, she finds herself stuck in a situation that she just can't seem to get out of. One that involves someone near and dear to her heart – until a troublesome whirlwind with a pair of dangerous blue eyes manages to stumble into her life and change everything.

All it takes is one rude interaction in the place that Lena calls her safe haven to turn her world upside down. Things can only get more complicated from here.

this is the one story that i never got to post online. if you remember, the site i used to write on got shut down, and in the meantime of me beginning this story, the shut down date came too soon. so that means y'all are the very first to read this! you must be pretty special :) it was originally titled "miles away" (which will come into play later on in the story), but i saw that there were already a few stories on here with that name. so i went for something different and i'm pretty happy with it!
