I stood on the curb outside starring down Rick. I was a little bitter that I still hadn't gotten a chance to kick his ass for what he did to Non. "Frankie boy, I came to see my daughter." He said smiling. I wanted to punch him until the smile was unrecognizable. The car door was pushed open and I looked inside.
"Frank...can...we...please...home?" she said her body shook with sobs and Payton cried out too. I nodded.
"Hi Nonnie, did you miss me?" Rick said leaning in closer so he could see into the car. I could tell by the look of fear that crossed Non's face she heard him. She held on to Payton a little tighter. "Hey, Payton. Daddies going to see you soon." I pushed him back. "Careful Frankie, don't wanna lose your temper in front of all these cameras, do you?" I looked around flashes started going even crazier.
"Get him away from my family," I said to the nearest bodyguard. He took a few menacing steps toward Rick who moved back.
"And I got out just for this," he said as I got into the car. I closed the door behind me and pulled Nonnie's sobbing frame onto my lap, cradling her like a baby. Seeing him again probably was too much for her. She was already freaking out cause of the crowd. Payton was strapped into her car seat. I signaled to the driver that we were ready to go and he pulled off.
I finished packing up Non's things from her hospital room. We all knew that there would be paparazzi all over the place and Frank and Non wouldn't be able to handle that and them. "That everything?" Pete asked. "I'll take this out to the car okay," I nodded. I took one more look around and saw a small pink bunny that Gerard had bought for Payton sitting in the bassinet. I walked over and picked it up.
"Now that is everything," I said out loud to no one.
"Is that for my little girl?" my breathe caught in my throat. I recognized that voice. "You know you could have been the one who had my child," I turned to see Rick standing at the door. His black hair fell almost over his blue eyes that were bright with mischief. He was wearing a black button down shirt, with a pair of blue skinny jeans. He looked good, and I wanted to run.
"What are you doing here?" I asked in a shaky voice.
"I just came to see my daughter," he took a few steps into the room toward me. I took a few steps away from him. "That's not happiness to see me," his smile got broader.
"How did you get out?"
"The warden has a new born, so he has a soft spot for new fathers,"
"And rapist," I said. His smile fell and he moved quickly pinning me against the wall.
"You made me do that to her, if you had just come home where you belong. I would never have had to teach her a lesson." my heart felt like it would beat through my chest. "I'll make you a deal..."
"No, last time we made a deal you went back on your word,"
"This time it will be different," he bent down and his lips brushed my neck, leaving behind a trail of heat on my skin. I put my hands on his chest and pushed him with all my strength, but he didn't even budge. His lips came back to my neck this time I felt his teeth nipping at my skin. I shivered from fear and closed my eyes. I started praying for a nurse or doctor, anyone to come and interrupt him.
Then he was pulled off of me. I opened my eyes to see Pete had him pinned against the other wall. "If you ever touch her again..."
"You won't do anything," Pete raised his hand and was about to hit him when I grabbed him.
