Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there were twelve kingdoms. Each kingdom represent a zodiac constellations . One kingdom for Aries, on for Taurus, one for Gemini, and so on. The each was located by the others with the same element.
Each kingdom had a King and Queen, along with one prince or princess. The princes and princesses where named after the constellations of their kingdoms, in order to please the zodiacs.
The twelve kingdoms lived in harmony among each other. But they knew that the harmony wouldn't last. So in order to make it, the kings and queens made a decision. When their children came of age they would marry amongst each other.
The children grew up, unaware of the arrangements. They never met the ones they were betrothed to. They continued life as normal. Until the day when their parents decided it was time to tell them.
