Emptiness
Dear God,
A hole burns through my heart
Vast emptiness overwhelms me
Lord, I need you now
I feel so alone
The darkness is overpowering the light
Please listen, please..
Are you there?
I know you are
Why do I feel like this Lord?
Why empty of all things?
So much I’ve been through Lord
But don’t give up on me
Don’t turn Your back on me
I need you now more than ever…
I don’t think I can make it
Depression takes me down..
Stress strangles me
Difficult times have come
My heart is weak
Please come rescue me from the bottomless pit
Shine a light
Please help me
Because I do not know what to do…
But I know You’re there... watching out for me…
Lord, I’ll trust You
