"You pulled it off," I said kissing Danae's cheek. "You gave them a fun filled stress free day." she was beaming. I knew that was her goal and did everything in my power to make it happen. I even hid all of the cell phones and unplugged the house phones. I'm so glad Mikey didn't get into the kitchen. If he had he probably would have started a fire and we wouldn't have had a way to call for help.
"Yes I did and thank you for helping me." she said turning onto her side so she was facing me. We were lying in bed, everyone was either headed home or already sleeping. Non and Bradyn had only lasted until around 8pm and then they were knocked out. Then every one started to leave, and they helped clean up.
"I didn't do anything," I said.
"Liar," she brushed her lips across mine and I pulled her closer.
"You do know that we have to go back home soon right," I said knowing that she wasn't ready to leave.
"Can we stay until the baby is born, I just want to make sure..."
"They are adults and they can't become dependant on you, cause you won't always be here."
"I know, but I just want to make sure that everything goes okay. I don't want what happened in LA to happen again. She would have a nervous break down and I have decided to testify in the appeal. So I have to be here for that anyway." she reasoned. I took a deep breath. I needed her to stop worrying about Non. So we could go home and start picking back up our lives. Don't get me wrong I love Non like a sister, but this isn't a life that would make Danae happy. She needs to be working to be happy, to feel a little like she is accomplishing something.
"Okay we can stay until the baby is born," tomorrow I would put into action a plan that would make her believe that Non was perfectly able to handle this house with the help of the guys.
I woke up to someone shaking my shoulder. I opened my eyes and Pete stood over me. "Dude, I know I kiss Gerard during our shows and all but I don't swing that way," I whispered.
"Come on I need to talk to you," he said backing up. I smiled at the little bit of discomfort I caused with my joke and followed him downstairs. A second later my door flew open with the other's walking in. Since they basically all lived here Non and I decided to give them each a key to the house. I looked over at Pete.
"I called them, all of you guy's help." He said they all came in and sat down. "Okay so you all know how close Nonnie and Danae are. You have all probably noticed how worried Danae is about Non too." We all nodded. "Well I need you guys to prove to her that Non will be well taken care of when we leave. In other words I need you guys to start working a little harder, and take better care of Non,"
"Dude we take excellent care of Non," Gerard said in our defense.
"I'm not saying you don't, I'm just saying that Danae thinks you don't/can't take decent care of her with out her here. That's a problem cause we have to get back to our lives in LA." He was pleading with us and I understood too, he was ready to get back to his life. He and she were doing so well, and here they seem to be stuck in one place. Their relationship can't grow here. There's too much history.
"So how do we do this?" Mikey asked.
"Well, we can start by making breakfast," Bob instantly raised his hand.
"I'll do it," he said, he was probably just afraid I would volunteer.
"Non has a doctors appointment today, Danae was going to take her. Frank you should take her instead,"
